I feel like too much is being made from the photo, it could literally be anyone. mOO
It at least shows us the person is skinny with a posture that could be recognized (better than nothing).I feel like too much is being made from the photo, it could literally be anyone. mOO
The poi was walking briskly (unconcluded calculated it and it would take him right under 15 minutes to walk a mile if he was able to maintain the current speed) so I think they may be leaned forward like that because of his quick gate. It may not be the usual posture. It at least shows us the person is skinny with a posture that could be recognized (better than nothing).
I still think if the dog was correct and this person walked back to the same condo building that is the biggest key to the case. No one would be that stupid to go back to her building approximately 5 hours after the fact unless you lived or worked there.
The broke fence was on Conroy so anyone driving along that road may have seen it if it was broken prior. I think it’s possible the fence may have broken if someone tried to climb over it.The female who moved into Mosaic not long after Jennifer went missing hung out with Chino at her apartment and his. She said he had a girlfriend at the time as well. I would love if the police would go back to talk to him and his girlfriend at the time to get their story again (not sure she was ever interviewed since it was years later). Remember that a housemaid said the POI looked like Chino prior to him being on the police's radar. The dog also followed the scent back to the Mosaic from Jennifer's car - and it went through a fence you could pull back which you'd think that could only be known by someone who worked or lived there.
She said the POI could be Chino but what stuck out was that she said Chino was usually wearing a bucket hat. I wonder if the POI could have a bucket hat on where the sides were flipped up?
It was a later episode on the Unconcluded podcast. She said he was a light skinned Hispanic male, wore a bucket hat, had dark hair that was a little curly, was around 5’9 or 5’10. She said Chino was always friendly and that Ben was standoffish, he was the person who worked with Chino as a maintenance worker (larger black male). Chino randomly moved out without telling her or others which she found odd since she just spoke to him the night before. This was many months after she moved in.The broke fence was on Conroy so anyone driving along that road may have seen it if it was broken prior. Where did you get the info on the hat? I don’t recall hearing that before.
I remember everything except the hat. I need to relisten to it. I didn’t find it suspicious that Chino moved out. He didn’t move out until November 2006 so he waited almost a year to leave. He may have changed jobs or gotten fired. I think he was living there so they would have a member of maintenance on site 24/7.It was a later episode on the Unconcluded podcast. Only the hairstyle seems to be remarkable to me. One photo of Chino shows him at work, with a ladder standing near him. His head is pixeled, but you can see a special haircut, fullness of hair on top of the head. MOOI feel like too much is being made from the photo, it could literally be anyone. mOO
The fence is at HOTG where the car was dumped. I’ve gone back and forth over the years if the poi is wearing some type of hat or it’s just hair. Whatever it is there is something going on with his head. It’s either a unique hair style or some type of hat. I think the poi is slightly tilting his head down to look at ground. If the poi is looking down it could just be a backward baseball cap. On HOBD, Logan did say that none of the workers he saw when he arrived were dressed like the poi.Only the hairstyle seems to be remarkable to me. The man, who is walking along a fence in front of Jennifer's building, has seemingly also a fancy haircut, a haircut with a lot of emphasis on the back of the head. MOO
Would be nice to know, whether Chino was a regular customer at a hairdresser and always got the trendiest haircut in 2006.
-.-.-
I think, Chino is the man's nickname? Was he wearing Chino pants?? The man passing the fence looks like perhaps wearing Chinos; I'm not quite sure, but.
I agree. I think it’s important to remember that they're not sure if it’s male or female. I think it’s a male, but I remain open minded to the poi being female. It’s also important to note the colors were distorted. The police were concerned the all white appearance would steer people and actually warned the public of this when they released the footage. The police said their uniforms appeared light in the footage, and their uniforms are navy blue. The great thing about this footage is it provides us with the timeframe of when the car was dumped. I have been to this area several times. The problem is anyone can drive around the area for 15 minutes on a nice day and find several people that could be the poi. There was a time we had a height estimate for the poi. It was very short. They’ve even thrown that out. The Kesse family attorney had said that he thinks the poi could he as tall as 6 ft. I’ve gone back and forth over the years about what’s going on with the poi’s head. I don’t have a strong opinion either way now. It really changes with different filters if you play with it. It’s important to remember that the pics on the kesse sight have been enhanced.Hopefully, the new DNA testing will give us a breakthrough, as that's the only way I can see this case getting solved. Two decades of examining the CCTV footage has produced nothing. We don't know if they had a poofy hairstyle, a hair bun, a type of headwear. We don't know what type or colour clothing they were wearing. We can't even be 100% sure of their gender (even though it's almost guaranteed to be a male).
That is a chance, but usually the cops will ask the person if they have ever met the missing person first. Then if the person says no I never knew them, never been in their car (Did you ever take a ride with them?) it boxes the person in. It is definitely a tight rope to walk. A match would at least give them a focus point in the investigation. Does the person have a record? Have they been arrested for SA?There is also an outside chance that the person seen only moved the car.
If there was a DNA hit from the car, that would give any good defense attorney an opening to say "My client only moved the car. They had no idea the car was involved in any other crime. No, they can't remember who asked them to move the car."
Now the kidnapping and murder charges are reduced to accepting stolen property if they can link a suspect to the car.
I know some of the info has changed regarding the DNA and prints, but I’m just posting this because I have always found Drew’s response about the poi not being the actual perp interesting. Drew said in 2010 that he doesn’t think the poi the perp. He also added a ! so that leads me to believe he felt strongly about it. One of the detectives said on HOBD Episdoe 5 that it would have been hard for someone to pull this crime off without help. Someone probably got caught up in it.There is also an outside chance that the person seen only moved the car.
