Jury deliberation begins in Denise Williams trial

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The jury is deliberating in the trial of Denise Williams, the Tallahassee woman accused of killing her husband Mike Williams.

Closing arguments were given Friday morning, and then the case was handed to the jury.

They have been behind closed doors since 11:30 a.m.

This case just goes to show that if only two people know the truth, it's likely they can get by with the crime, as long as neither talks about it. But, for all the other cases out there, that remain unsolved, remember, that relationship you have with a person isn't always lifelong! They can turn on you with the TRUTH and uncover all evil.

Thankfully the jury saw this case for what it is. Guilty!

It’s been 18 years since Mike Williams disappeared. He didn’t drown. He wasn’t eaten by alligators and tonight, his widow Denise Williams was found guilty of his murder

Defense atty Ethan Way said he is not happy with the verdict "It’s the wrong verdict on the facts. Obviously I don’t think she’s guilty of any of the three verdicts. Ultimately, we submitted the case to the jury and the jury made a decision."

ASA Jon Fuchs said he is happy to get justice for Mike and his family "This is a career case. It's not every day in your career that you get to be involved in an unsolved homicide that is 18 years old and make an arrest and ultimately get a 17yo conviction on homicide."

I have always believed if anyone other than the perp knows about the crime there is always the chance that other person will eventually spill the beans. Take the case of Casey Anthony: she murdered her child all by herself. she is not worried about anyone snitching on her and she got away with cold blooded murder.

Wow! How did I miss this case?! I read the whole thread now and it was fascinating - and sad, of course.

Very glad she was found guilty, what a cold blooded woman she is. The verdict comes almost exactly 18 years after the murder.

Mike's mom must be so relieved now. Tipping my hat to this amazing mother.

I just discovered this case about two weeks ago on ID--- what a diabolical duo they were; imagine shooting your best friend from high school- and Mike's wife, ugh---she got that million dollar insurance policy - they almost got away with it and i believe they would have never been caught if Brian had not kidnapped Denise and pulled a gun on her; she then went to the police and Brian got arrested, which led to a prison sentence and his ratting her out--- she is one cold biotch- i hope she spends the rest of her miserable evil life in prison.
