We have marine units out at the Mayport jetties working with JSO air units and
@USCGSoutheast
in search of a missing jet skier.

JFRD searching for missing jet skier in Mayport

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department is looking for a jet skier who went missing near the Mayport jetties Thursday afternoon.

Marine units and The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office are currently assisting in finding this person, according to a tweet by JFRD.

Our crews have ended their search for the reported missing jet skier as there was no indications during our investigations anyone was in distress and needed our help.
