Behind a dumpster? So the dock was a red herring all along?

Can someone post an updated map of where the bar, car and John were found? I am horrible with maps. tia

Yes, I believe so. My personal opinion is he was intoxicated and got stuck behind the dumpster somehow. The pic he took of his parking job was insanely blurry, and maybe he was "proud" of how well he parallel parked due to being intoxicated.

It doesn't make sense though where his ID and cell phone pinged compared to where they found his body. Also a body decomposing for that long in a somewhat trafficked place would have clearly caught someone's nose. The dumpster must have not been used

This doesn’t make sense—how did his phone and shirt end up on the dock but then he ended up behind a dumpster? I think a map would be helpful, I’ll make one now.

Here is a map of all known locations. It seems he probably walked right down the street past the bar he was supposed to meet his friend at and kept walking all the way to DeSoto Park and then perhaps he got lost and started walking southwest instead of northwest.

Does he have any history of drug use that we know of? Behind a dumpster with no foul play sounds very unusual. I can't imagine anyone in their right mind going behind a dumpster to die intentionally. I'm praying this young man's family. This is heartbreaking. Moo

how did he walk that far?? not sober up?? Something is way off!! this doesn’t add
up, especially after looking at the map.

Do we know that the shirt they found near the dock was his?

Also (sorry if this has already been discussed), was his phone found with him (near the dumpster), or is it missing? Tia

Thank You, @citizen_sleuth , for the map. It helps to visualize what
happened, especially since I'm in Massachusetts, and know virtually
NOTHING about this area. JMO MOO

Poor young man. My heart goes out to his loved ones. I can think of scenarios this could be an accident, but I hope the investigation is very thorough.

Looks like they used a PI service. it wasn’t local leo that found him.

The “enclosed” dumpster he was found behind was a dumpster with a tall gate around it. the kind the has to “doors” that open at the front.

How did he get stuck or pinned behind there? was he hiding from someone? was he put there after he passed?

Most recent thing I can find only says:
Police said there were no signs to suggest foul play in Larson's case and are awaiting a full toxicology report from the Hillsborough County medical examiner. Sister Of John Larson Says Brother Taught Her To 'Live, Love, Dance' | Tampa, FL Patch

This case doesn't make any sense to me and is incredibly remniscent of another case - I can't remember the young man's name but he was also a new dad. He stopped at a gas station on his way to get parts for his car, or pay to fix his car, if I remember right, and never came home. He was found hanged near the car shop, but it felt incredibly strange. I get the same feeling on this case - the heebie jeebies for lack of a better term. Something doesn't seem right.

yup!! The area where Larson was found just doesn’t make any sense if no foul play with suspected.
