It’s very common for stylists to touch up their own hair at their booth before leaving for the day. Joleen’s hairstyle definitely calls for a curling iron.

I think Jolene was touching up her hair when Kimberly ambushed her from behind and possibly strangled her with the cord of the curling iron. There would be no mess left behind and explains the burn mark on Kimberly’s left cheek bone.

If Jolene had the curling iron in her right hand, she could have been reaching over her left shoulder with it to fight off Kimberly behind her (who was presumably choking her with the cord). If she was right handed, the curling iron would have burned across Kimberly’s left cheek at that slight upward angle if Jolene was attempting to strike Kimberly with it over her shoulder while sinking to the floor, sliding down the front of Kimberly, with Kimberly bending over Jolene’s head as she slid down losing consciousness.

When this woman above disappeared (1996 vacation home Flagler Beach, Florida - original from Atlanta/Georgia), she had a similar age to KK.
She has a twin sister; maybe, she looks like her. (For info, nothing special in mind at the moment.)
The missing woman had been in the escort service industry.

I don't comprehend with logic (sigh) what might be a connection, but I think the missing woman (above all, the pic to the left) is looking like KK on her older pics:

For the timeline:
A man from Clearwater who didn’t want to be identified said Kessler rented out a room from him in 2009.
He told us she was very secretive and was taken into custody under Florida’s Baker Act at one point. (Clearwater, I think)
Kessler also reportedly worked at the Great Clips on County Road 210 for a short time in 2017 and went by the name Mia. (Jacksonville, FL)

Interestingly, Abby had just recently returned to NC after living in Jacksonville, Florida for 2 years. She also had completed a drug rehab program recently. Abby returned to her mother's home in NC after rehab. She told her mom she would be back in an hour and never returned. Police have stated Abby's disappearance is not connected to the other 3 women's death (despite all of the women having drug histories-- somehow Abby's case is different according to LE).

I had to look up the Baker Act. Some info from Wikipedia:

The Florida Mental Health Act of 1971 (Florida Statute 394.451-394.47891[1] (2009 rev.)), commonly known as the "Baker Act," allows the involuntary institutionalization and examination of an individual.

The Baker Act allows for involuntary examination (what some call emergency or involuntary commitment). It can be initiated by judges, law enforcement officials, physicians, or mental health professionals. There must be evidence that the person:

• possibly has a mental illness (as defined in the Baker Act).
• is in danger of becoming a harm to self, harm to others, or is self neglectful (as defined in the Baker Act).

Examinations may last up to 72 hours after a person is deemed medically stable and occur in over 100 Florida Department of Children and Families-designated receiving facilities statewide.[2]

News4jax keeps reporting that Kessler will be in court today and that Gee (the x boy friend) will also be in court on his charges, they (news) still calling Gee a person of interest in the case.

The day after Cummings' family reported her missing, Cummings' ex-boyfriend, Jason Gee, was arrested on violation of probation for a 2017 drug charge and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Authorities immediately named him a person of interest in Cummings' disappearance, and they have yet to clear him in the case.

She might not have had Social Security numbers for all her aliases. Some names might just be names she made up when she got arrested for something. I don't think we know yet if she managed to get 18 false SS#s. But if she DID run up credit card debt in one of her alias names with a SS#, she would not be able to get an apartment (at least not a legal one) in that name anymore. Most rentals do credit checks and require proof of employment. And even landlords renting illegally get nosy about who they are renting to. Like that one guy said who sublet a room to her-- she was secretive. I wonder if she had a standard sob story she told people for why she didn't want to talk about her past.
