GUILTY FL - Joleen Cummings, 34, Nassau Co, 12 May 2018 *ARREST*

The thing I can't figure out is how they reconnected after work since Joleen was seen leaving the salon at 5pm.

I understood that info came from KK in the beginning when LE first talked to her.

The only source I have seen for Joleen Cummings last being seen at 5pm comes from Jennifer Sybert (Kessler) - this comes from the Arrest Affidavit. I don't consider her a reliable source. Is there some other source, such as seen by someone else or on video? If it turned up in a news story and cites a source other than Kimberly I would be interested in seeing it.

My impression was that Kimberly and Joleen were working together until close on Saturday the 12th. We know that Kimberly's car was very likely at Tangles when she dropped Joleen's car at the Home Depot. Kimberly was seen walking away from Joleen's car and toward a Gate station where she got a taxi that took her to Tangles.

Link to the Arrest Affidavit on my Google Drive for those that haven't read it.

It doesn't seem likely to me that the murder occurred anywhere but at Tangles. That is where the crime scene tape was and crime scene folks were processing for more than a day.

Thank you for that--I'd missed seeing the Affidavit and only read the news stories that don't specify how they knew she left at 5pm. I don't believe a word she says.

Hi Jethro,

I'm behind behind here in Joleen's case so sorry if this has alreasy been addressed: I am curious as to why you suspect dismemberment? Tia, going back to read.

Eta: re: the hunger strike, fine, don't eat!
I suspect dismemberment because of the length of time Tangles was shut down for processing the scene and that Tangles ultimately decided to shut the business down instead of re-opening as well as the Sheriff stating that when the information comes out that the community will be shocked. Whatever took place is going to above and beyond a simple, straight-forward murder. There had to be some indicator for law enforcement to characterize the murder that way. Had that evidence been found in Kimberly's vehicle she would have been charged with murder. My understanding was that they had not found evidence of foul play in Joleen's vehicle. So by process of elimination I think such evidence was found in Tangles.

So this psycho went on a hunger strike because she read a story about her having lived in 33 cities. So now she's eating . Is it because she wants to add another city to her list, or because the psycho figures the new jail has more potential for stealing yet another identity? Inmates and guards ...watch your backs !

Yep. Her cockiness is quite apparent in that mugshot. IMHO, she'll continue to manipulate everyone, including LE, when it comes to finding Joleen--providing false leads and the like.

Ugh.

Nah - she's the only source;

Sheriff Bill Leeper said that investigators have uncovered a lot of evidence connected to Cummings' co-worker, Jennifer Sybert, who was the last person to see the mother of three and is considered a suspect in Cummings' disappearance.

I just hope they don't have to cut a deal with her in exchange for where to find Joleen.

Let's hope someone (LE, jail informant) can get her to talk. Butter her up, so to speak. [SARCASM]Tell her how smart she is for assuming all of those fine aliases.[/SARCASM]

Insert eye-rolling smiley here.

I just hope they don't have to cut a deal with her in exchange for where to find Joleen.

Agree with this 100%.

A hunger strike? Really. Did she also go on a water strike? What a power play - going without food is un-comfortable, without water is a whole different ballgame. If she lived out of her car she could have been used to going without meals, water is everywhere.

Maybe she was going to give something in exchange for a new "hotel".

I hope so this family needs closure

Let her out of the death penalty. She can rot in prison the rest of her life and it is cheaper for the state of FL anyway. That should be the only thing she is able to get out of. Although, with her super ego and narcissistic personality, she is probably trying to convince them she had absolutely nothing to do with this in the first place.
She can go on a hunger strike. They will just have her hospitalized and fed through a tube to keep her alive, when/if she can last long enough for it to become a medical emergency.

What, if KK/JS brought her victim to Hilliard in a fit of extra sadism (insane, as she must be), because she would have known, that Joleen planned to go there on Sunday?

Anything is possible. If it turns out Kimberly has any experience doing this before she would know what worked for her before. Unless or until that is known it is likely Kimberly would go to a place that she knows and considers to be a place few, if any, people go. I would like to know if she was seen in the Lowe's which is right next door to the property where Tangles is on May 12th. Law enforcement should have obtained any phone location records by now so they should be able to piece together some of Kimberly's movements in the days and weeks before to get a sense of where Kimberly commonly went.

I wonder about a dumpster being used for disposal.

I agree. I would rather see her serve life. A DP case would be nearly impossible without a body so I'm not sure it's a bargaining chip. In the case of Christina Morris there was enough DNA evidence in the car to show that a death occurred but the conviction was life for aggravated kidnapping.
Since she already pulled the hunger stunt I hope she is also on suicide watch.

Just bouncing off my own post because I did not know where to find it. Evidence showed LE that indeed a death had occurred. Whether that was blood evidence in the car or in the shop we do not know.

Through our investigation, we have obtained evidence, which we are not releasing at this time, which leads us to believe Joleen is not alive.

“She was literally a ghost in the wind,” Pennsylvania District Attorney Richard Goldinger told ABC News, adding that Kessler was known to go to local cemeteries to find names to use as her aliases.

Maybe, that would be a place to bury someone?

24.05.2018 - Kessler also told her mother, Long recounted, that she had already picked out a new name — Pamela Kleber or Pamela Kleiber — to use.

Then this would be perhaps her first alias in 2004?

I think she is multiple personality, and if so, probably had some severe trauma in the past.

I agree it is prudent to consider SK.
Very interesting case.

That might be the first name she got a false Social Security number for (if she actually did use Pamela Kleiber's name), but we know she was using other fake names prior to 2004. In 1999 she was arrested in Virginia Beach using the name Christina Brook: Joleen Cummings missing: Kessler being investigated as possible serial killer, source says
