GUILTY FL - Joleen Cummings, 34, Nassau Co, 12 May 2018 *ARREST*

  • #401

Wow really mom??!! KK is so courageous?? A “wonderful, courageous human being”. Yes it takes so much courage to kill an innocent coworker. Ugh the mom is in such denial and the cringe factor is off the charts. Mom, didn’t KK disappear for over a decade and have no contact with you? Yet you know what a great person she is. You haven’t seen her since 2004, and since then she’s had like one million aliases. Stahhppp I hope EE never has to cross paths with this family and I hope he never has to learn the truth about his mother.

The FBI will search at a Charlton County, Georgia, landfill for possible evidence in the case of Joleen Cummings, a Nassau County woman missing since the day before Mother's Day.

The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI jointly announced at a Friday afternoon news conference that an organized search would begin Saturday morning at the Chesser Island Landfill -- a Waste Management facility. The search will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for seven days.
Authorities said they obtained video of Kessler appearing to put a white trash bag into a dumpster about the time of Cummings' disappearance. The Sheriff's Office asked Waste Management to hold 5 million pounds of trash received on May 14 so it could be searched at a later date.

Can anyone find a transcript of this video? I can't get it to play.

Not sure if you have one, but I had to use a different browser to get it to play.

I personally don't believe there is an EE.

Evidently it is the size of a football field. Or 2700 tons of trash. They had alerted the landfill prior to this and asked them to set it aside while they followed up on other leads

I don't envy the agents assigned to this task.
Good old south Georgia weather: 90-95F degrees (in between thunderstorms), 95^ humidity, mosquitos, spiders, god knows what other kind of bugs. I hope they're paid a nice bonus.

Thank you, @cybervampira

Some quotes:

As investigators in Florida work to learn more about the disappearance of Butler native Kimberly Kessler's colleague Joleen Cummings, Kessler’s mother Connie defends her character—saying she wouldn't hurt anyone, not even an animal.

“She treated them like they were God, and I've always said if you want to know someone's character, check out their animals. See how they treat animals. That's the indication of character and that's the way Kimberly's always been,” said Kessler.

She says Kimberly gave birth to a son, named Evan, but the father kept him from her—even told her he was dead.

“When she thought he was dead, she wanted to know where he might be buried and that was when the journey started. That was when her journey started to find Evan. To find out what happened to him,” said Kessler.

That's why she believes her daughter assumed the identities of children buried in cemeteries. She believes she faked different identities in order to search for her son, while hiding her true identity out of fear.

I can't tell if her mother has been completely fooled by KK, or is delusional too, or what, but her statements do not make any sense to me.

Fist of all, all due respect to animal lovers, but it scares me when people "treat animals like God". How a person treats animals is not always an indication of how a person will treat people, IMO. Apparently it has not occurred to Mrs K that some people believe animals are better than humans. People can treat their pets very well while at the same time seeing nothing wrong with abusing or killing people. MOO.

Second, no one in their right mind takes on fake identities in order to search for their child. What kind of nonsense is that? Why not hire a PI? or work through the courts to get custody? Or even use the media to draw attention to your case? Why is a fake identity needed? If you think your child has been murdered and buried somewhere, file a police report for heavens sake! I don't think there is a child at all. I think KK made this all up to explain her behavior of taking on fake ids and her mother believed it for some reason. When and where did she have this baby that her mother has never seen? Are there birth records for him?

Just starting to read this thread and am only on the first page, but there was an alias that jumped out at me and seemed familiar to me. Although I still haven't figured out why, I googled the name. So, I apologize if someone has already found this. The name is Pamela Kleiber. I have a feeling that Kessler's family knows some things about here activities over the years. Check this out:

Okay, I know why the Kleiber name was familiar to me. It was when I was searching Kessler previously and found her missing poster.

How do we find out the year that something was posted on zabasearch? And, I wonder if some of the addresses mentioned there relate to any of her aliases.

Probably a good idea to report this to police.
MTA this was in reply to the Zabasearch post.

When she left Pennsylvania in 2004 she told her family that she would be using the Pamela Kleiber name. It was even listed as an alias for her on her NAMUS profile. However, they didn't report her missing for 8 years. I wonder if perhaps she kept in touch with family for some of those 8 years through some message boards or emails using the Pamela alias? Maybe they only reported her missing when she stopped communicating? IDK.
