If I followed the story correctly, after the CPS incident and her arrest, he went to court to get custody and terminate her rights. So, he would have known much earlier. But as I said, if I understand the story the way, he describes knowing about the name even before that because in order for her to explain she used Christina Brook was to hide from her mother it would have had to have happened prior to Kimberly taking off with Evan. Keep in mind that he knew Kimberly as Melissa McKernan and it isn't clear when he learned that wasn't her real name either.

In the interview with the ex he said that he only came to know her real name when LE tracked him down recently.

Kessler is the only suspect in the disappearance case of missing Nassau County mother Joleen Cummings.

Losey said he was married to Kessler twice, under her alias Melissa McKernan while living in Arizona.

He said Kessler was using fake names long before being reported missing in the 2000s.

Losey described Kessler as a sweet, health-conscious woman.

“My thoughts about Melissa doing it -- my Melissa, I can’t see her doing it," he said when asked about the allegations against Kessler.

Losey explained their relationship as a crazy one and said he hasn't heard from Kessler in decades.

All we know about so far is a son, EE. It's complicated but here is what I recall-- While living under an assumed named in the 90's she had a son under a different assumed name (she put a different name for herself on the son's birth record). The son was taken away from her by social services. She threatened someone with a gun to try to get her son back and was arrested for it in Virginia Beach in 1999 under the name Christina Brook. She bailed out and went on the run, changing her name again. She later told her mother that the boy had died and the boy's father was keeping the location of his grave a secret. Her mother said the the reason KK used false ID's in the early 2000's was to try to locate her son or her son's grave. We now know that's all a bunch of bull and it seems like KK's mother is either very confused on her timelines, is lying as well or she was lied to a lot and believed KK's lies. EE's father had been told by KK that she was using a false name to avoid her mother. EE grew up never meeting KK or knowing much of anything about her until the FBI contacted him and his father. EE is in his 20's now with his own family and asked the press for privacy. But his father did an interview. It's in one of the previous media posts, I'll see if I can find it. Now that I think about it I do wonder if she had more than one child and we just haven't heard about the others yet...

Mom of missing hairstylist: We need my daughter found

The mother of a Nassau County woman who disappeared in May and is presumed dead told News4Jax that she won't stop until her daughter's body is found and she has justice.

Johnson was in court Thursday and said she'll be back in three weeks. She has been to every court hearing since Kessler's arrest, regardless of whether Kessler faces the judge in person.

She said she has a simple mission: to let Kessler know she is there.

Well, that article cleared up the question I had of whether or not she had actually married the one guy a second time - there were two divorce cases involving the same parties that went to conclusion in Arizona.
