As fast as this happened, they were still trying to process what happened, scared and in shock, so I'm not surprised that they didn't call 911 at the plaza. They went back to Gate to get help. It was a football field away, not far at all. Nothing suspicious at all. Plus, the defendant's car was coming near them again.
