I really think this defense lawyer is doing a good job, although I don't think it will rise to reasonable doubt. jmo

Very impressed with the composure of Tevin Thompson and how polite he was. This must be very difficult for these young men, to have to recall and relive that fatal night. I truly hope that justice will be served and MD goes down.

Also, on the Durango from that year, when the auto lock feature is on, the driver can open the car door and the rest of the locks stay on. Someone in the front seat has to push the unlock button for the rear door to unlock. We had a Durango and my children were always annoyed when they wanted to get out and couldn't because of that feature.

Considering he has so little to work with, he is throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks. From his opening, I thought he had something more about the ineptitude of the police. He had nothing IMO.

I am not sure about the CPR thing and the officer. Why was that a problem? If I am doing CPR on scene and a cop is there, they usually defer as I am certified in ACLS. I don't think the cop did anything wrong by allowing a GS to do CPR. JMO

Someone posted a tweet (iirc) upthread that said Thompson clarified that the reference to child locks was to the windows, not the doors. I noticed because I was wondering why the driver would have had the child lock feature on the doors ever since I heard the mother say that in an interview from Atlanta very early on.
