Strolls is trying his best to create reasonable doubt by attacking all the State's witnesses. I get the impression that he is throwing everything against the wall, hoping something will stick. As awful as this sounds, I think he is trying to appeal to subconscious racism and bias that a car full of black teens are thugs, and up to "no good".

One of the kids testified that Jordan basically had a mouth on him. The kids also testified that the music was so loud, they could not hear what Jordan was saying. Which also leads me to believe that Dunn could not hear what Jordan was saying due to the loud music. IMO Dunn thought he was being threatened and disrespected and that justified him shooting at the car. It was Dunn's bias and Profiling that led him to over react and shoot at the car IMO. He could have moved the car very easily to avoid the confrontation. IMO Dunn has a very short fuse and was not about to let this kid "get away" with disrespecting him.

I would venture to say that every one of us has felt disrespected at some point in time and used our judgement and coping skills to handle it. If any of you have had children go through the teenage years, then you know what I mean. IMO, most of us have been taught to be respectful and avoid conflict. Dunn had a choice to ignore, tolerate, wait for his girlfriend to come out, not engage, move his car, call 911 if he thought his life was in danger. The fact that he did none of these things has cost a kid his life. I truly hope the jury sees right through this defense and uses common sense in addition to the law. JMO, JMV

Respectfully, BBM. I agree wholeheartedly. I live in North FL and racism is not just in the subconcious of many and is blatantly illustrated daily. Not to mention the pre-conceived thoughts about teenagers from adults regardless of the color of their skin. And, where MD lived is not especially known for being extremely tolerant. Sorry if my generalizations about my state offend some.

Don't matter if Dunn was flying, swimming or running in the berry's community. Dunn gunned down a teen, and endangered the lives of three others. Jmo. Dunn was a fool, in one moment living his life in the next running from LE. If Dunn was so gentle he would not have fled the scene. Jmo
