Sometimes people who have just gotten dentures often have difficulties while speaking until they get use to them. jmo

#michaeldunn says in video he has not had much sleep while being questioned by JSO Det. Musser. #dunntrial

POOR BABY! IF only he recognized that folks in public service ARE frequently SLEEP deprived 'cause they are "cleaning up" messes created by "entitled" creatures! What an absolute failure on MD's part to "bond" with the detectives!

Not my point. I don't understand why they're debating what parts to show the jury and what parts to cut out. I think the original statements and interviews should automatically be a part of the case. How is the jury going to be able to make an informed decision if they're not shown what the defendant said when it was all fresh.

IMO, because his live testimony is subject to cross-examination and because, to the extent his live testimony is inconsistent with his prior recollection/statement, that part can be used in rebuttal. Either way, you get the best recollection, and here, you get to impeach at the same time if he's changed it up from the original. Which, from the prosecution's point of view is probably the best of both worlds as opposed to just "running the tape."

All JMOO

In interview following shooting, #MichaelDunn first learns teens had no gun: "Well, I don't know what to say to that" #DunnTrial

I saw this before and noticed Dunn had a lisp. I'm hearing it now, but not when he was on the stand.

Anyone have an idea?

He was still under the influence? JMO.

"I can't shoot someone because in my mind he has a weapon" according to cop.

  • #207
"He's backing away, he's no longer a threat."

THAT and what follows is what the jury needs to hear. Best argument ever for the prosecution.

Also if they lose weight.

Oh! I like the statements from the officers on what he isn't allowed to do!

He either took a drug or alcohol to relax him before police interview. Would not surprise me if he has substance abuse issues. Fits his personality.

I'm also thinking the quality of the audio. Not the best, it seems sibilant.

deliberations will be fairly quick imo

Do kids actually call men a B---ch? ("You're dead, B---ch?")

I like that the detective points out that the driver was in the store and could not have been "coming after" Dunn.

  • #216
he says he wanted to protect the love of the is life and that's why he shot JD

the irony is that the love of his life would be much better off right now if he hadn't murdered anyone

Nahhh. Police officers interviewing him don't have articulation/slurring issues. Just Dunn.

Police tell dunn he was the first person to tell them that Davis got out of car. #DunnTrial

I can not watch this anymore.. Someone send up a flag when this interview is over. I can not stand his casual attitude when he cried about a freaking dog that was alive and well.
