I think she did a good job of swaying people to consider first-degree if they weren't there.

One thing that bothered me in MD testimony was his statement about hearing loss in his right ear and that his left ear was more sensitive to noise. So I checked this out with Dr. Zuri to see if that is plausible.

Dr. Zuri said NO. The left ear would not be more sensitive to noise. Nor would his hearing be heightened because of loss of hearing in his right ear. The brain compensates by causing one to turn head directionally to hear. Could MD thought he heard JD say words that were not what MD thought they were? Meaning no threat, but a lot of FUs.

My take away from that is Dunn was hearing impaired, and had to turn his head (left ear) towards the noise/speech. As his car door was aligned with the front passenger door, he would have had to turn his head slightly towards the back of the SUV. Being as how MD is 6'4", his door pillar may have partially obstructed his view. In order to fully see the imaginary gun, was he already getting out of his car with his gun in hand?

Something is just not adding up in the scenario put forth by MD, hearing loss or not. IMO, JMO, JMV

This is in no way an important question, but I was wondering why Jordans parents were not sitting in the front row?

There's something to be said about a State that allows the gun restrictions to become more lenient, permits and CCW's given out to people who just want to be "cool", when that State does NOT have a culture with a long history of gun respect.

And to reiterate, I have yet to run across a single person involved in a deadly shooting, that did not break down when recounting the incident. They took the life of a human. No matter what the circumstance, that weight is felt by them forever. The casual way MD handled this situation, and his demeanor at his LE interrogation makes me think he was expecting a pat on the back for ridding the community of a "🤬🤬🤬🤬".
The question is: Would he have shot into the SUV if it had been 4 white kids?

......I don't think so.:twocents:

IMO, Michael Dunn is comes across as smug, self-righteous and extremely unsympathetic. I have not seen one sign of contrition for the fact that he ended the life of a kid. He has such a sense of entitlement - I don't know how he can sit there and not be overwhelmed by the great tragedy he has caused. The prosecutor's closing was so compelling, and even though she portrayed him in the worst possible light, he seemed unmoved. As though, let's get this over with so I can get back to my beach house.

Does anyone think he will get 1st degree for JD's murder? or the other 3 guys?

I think he gets 1st degree. It is obvious that he did this because he was ticked at the kids with the loud music and nothing more. He said " You are not going to talk to me like that" Heard by witness..

Sorry. This is classic premeditated murder. He shot him to kill him and shut them up..

IMO
