I agree. Very logical questions. Apparently the defense thinks the jury is going to buy that every single witness is mistaken or confused, or just wrong, except MD.

Why would the kids be so concerned about stashing a gun they never fired? Why wouldn't they use it when they were being shot at? Why didn't Jordan use it if he was planning on killing Dunn? Why?

Because the owner of the vehicle and the one who drove it to the plaza and got out was not a minor and was on felony probation -- which he happened to be violating at the time and, apparently, intended to violate further by going to the mall.

Biggest problem the state has, imo.

Strolla is a good attorney in the sense that he has been able to twist everything into stupid knots. Good job, unless you were actually listening to the evidence in court, then it all falls apart. The smoke and mirrors are just to divert the jury from looking at the truth...this was an angry man who shot an unarmed 17 year old who disrespected him. AND then did nothing. Not a responsible gun owner...not a good citizen...not an innocent man. Just an angry old white guy with a gun.

It all boils down to the fact that all this would have been different if Dunn had only done one thing: Called 911. He didn't...he ran, most likely because of the alcohol in his system that night.

True.

He did say he was planning on going home though.

I don't think it'll matter though, IMO. It's plain as day what happened. There's no logical way to believe they had a shot gun.

Unless he really knows the how some folks in that area think...and he working hard to target one or two jurors who might be open to "understanding" why MD "had" (eye roll) to do what he did.

This is really hard to listen to.
