Ok, here's the plan.....

As soon as the jury begins deliberations in the morning, get in the shower, run errands, get called into work, or loose your power. Then, make sure your phone is either left at home, the battery is dead, or that your toddler runs away with it.

That way we can guarantee a verdict.:floorlaugh:

I've got everyone covered since my phone's battery won't hold a charge :) I confiscated my son's and he really wants it back. He probably won't be pleased to see all the alerts I signed up for on it. :)

"Not Guilty"? I thought you believed he was guilty.

I think Popsicle was replying in MD's inner thoughts?

Exactly what I posted a while ago.

How in the world can you be convicted of attempting to murder people, when at the same time you DO murder one of them--yet don't get convicted of that??
It makes absolutely no sense, it's not logical, and completely bizarre.

:scared:

It can make sense. If folks agree on attempted murder and agree that it was murder, for instance. But meanwhile, they can't agree on the degree of murder to convict him on.

Then they are hung on murder (because some say only M1 and some say M2) but can convict on attempted murder.

Pauley Perrette is a trial watcher too.

Before I get to the BBM part, the first part would be hysterically funny if it wasn't such an indictment on our schools.

Now for the BBM part.

Being from New York I'm constantly being teased about being suave and sophisticated.

BBm: You wouldn't have to worry about that here in NC!!!!! Florida is full of retirees from the North. They are still called Yankees here, LOL. Still love you.:floorlaugh:

I get the feeling that some members of this jury are totally sick of other member or members of the jury and just could not stand the thought of one more minute in the same room with them.

I wish JVM on HLN would strop screaming.
Now I remember why I never watch that station any more.

I was listening to her screeching on my way home. Finally had to go back to my 70's station.

Probably Isabelle.
I tried using a bunch of weird code breaks (and NO, I have zero talent in this area, just googled my way around).
I even gave my son a copy to check out, he did find the word "WRONG" right off the bat but it did not fit when trying to decode more, lol. I was so geeked when I thought he had broken it that fast!
It likely is something that would mean nothing to the case at all, but the fact that it is there and no one knows what it is drives me

I might play with it again tonight. Wonder of the sequence for 9 could be 9 forward hen 9 backwards and so on. I obsess over puzzles. For all we know it says something like the fool that figures this out is a fool lol.

First coded message I played with came out as "WRONG....", just took the 9th letter in the sequence.

2nd coded message came out "EFILLER", but I might have read the letters funny  7th letter of the sequence.

I just heard in the phone calls with Rhonda R that Dunn was going to use code in his letters to her for passwords to Bank accounts etc.

Who the heck is she anyway? JVM? What was her previous claim to fame and how the heck did she ever get her own show?

She's like nails on a chalk board, I can not listen to her.

LOL, how old is he? You may have a mutiny on your hands.

I think she was an attorney at one time. To me she is an obnoxious rude loudmouth that gives me an instant headache. I did manage to hear in all the screeching that the jury will resume tomorrow.

I'm a bit confused too. I thought Popsicle was for a guilty verdict. Maybe a misspeak.

ETA: Never mind, I actually really read it and Popsicle is speaking as if they are MD. Duh!

This makes me feel like they are having a hard time deciding between M1 and M2. I am going to speculate a bit. Just my opinion.

According to this article,

http://www.firstcoastnews.com/story...n-trial/2014/02/14/dunn-life-sentence/5485419

If the jury believes those shots were not fired in self defense, Dunn could be convicted of three attempted murder charges

If they have already decided on the attempted murder counts, then they either believe his self-defense story or they don't. If they believe his story, they wouldn't be hung up on the murder charge. They would believe that he acted in self-defense and would find him not guilty. If they don't believe his story, then, imo, they need to decide if his actions were pre-meditated or not.

Does that make sense?

Lol, that would be funny if all this time people were trying to figure out what he what he was trying to tell RR and it was just bank passwords...

I might have tried that, but please do if you feel up to it.
Honestly I was jumping all over the place trying this and that, I likely was not as thorough as a code breaking would require
And you are prolly right, a big Nelson "HAHA" to whomever figures it out!

ETA- Now that I am looking at Nelson, MD kind of looks like a grown up real life version :giggle:

I have the First Coast News app installed on my phone available in the play store. I think I signed up for the texts, but somehow it didn't go through cuz I'm not getting any.

HTH.

I signed up with the web site and it says it was successful but I never received a confirmation text so I don't think mine did either.

Calling it a day. Thanks for the company, ws'ers. May tomorrow bring a wise verdict.

I think you are correct and I think that the jury is split on guilty or not guilty.

Yes, that is what I heard too.

Steely- yes, I do think he is guilty. :)
