Judge Healy will be  when he learns this.

I wasn't expecting to see that. Must admit it made me jump a little. Are they allowed to show autopsy photos?

I didn't think so either, but since court proceeding, it's not the same as the release of the Dale Earnhardt photos ...I thought same as you until I googled and found

Sarasota Herald-Tribune v. State, 924 So. 2d 8, 14 (Fla. 2d DCA 2005), review denied, 918 So. 2d 293 (Fla. 2005), cert. dismissed, 126 S. Ct. 1139 (2006), in which the district court reversed a trial court order that had barred the media from viewing autopsy photographs that were admitted into evidence in open court during a murder trial; according to the appellate court, s. 406.135, F.S., "does not render these court exhibits confidential." Bullet wound #1 was a fatal wound. Jordan could have lived for only a couple of minutes.

  • #564
Oh dear me. There is a photo of his liver. No.

Wound #2 - left thigh. Discusses wound track. Only went through muscle and soft tissue and did not exit. Not a fatal wound.

I'm only going to listen for this. I'm so upset that the cameraman is showing these photos. I have never seen this in the video broadcast before. Nothing is being held back. The jury, the people in the courtroom see these pictures all the time, but usually they are NOT allowed to be broadcast out to the general public (us) out of respect for the deceased.

2 more bullets entered between #JordanDavis's legs.

Still can't watch.

3rd gunshot wound: perforating wound to right thigh. It exited the body.

And we're on a break

  • #570
Assume that if the judge didn't know the autopsy photos were being broadcast, he'll learn of it at break...so we'll either move forward with photos, or he will be upset and chastising when he gets back after break.

Good Morning WS Friends!

I'm now going to watch. They are referring to the doll as "Bendy," the name given to him by jury #1.

Looking forward to Dr Simon under cross. I think she can handle anything the defense throws at her.

Med. Exam. talking about dowels in SUV, showing bullet trajectories. Defense previously said she wasn't qualified to do this.

From the demonstration she gave I can totally see how he got shot in the thighs. He would have to be sat leaning away from the door for the bullets to hit him where they did. Jmo.

Medical examiner testifies: #JordanDavis was in no way leaning out of the SUV. His door had to have been closed when shot. #MichaelDunn.

This is 100% confirmation that Dunn's version is impossible. The trajectory of the bullets, the bullet path in Jordan's body, the fact that the cars were parked quite close to each other...it's impossible. I'm going through his version in my head to make it fit and it just doesn't.

Cross exam of Dr Simons. Discussion over whether Bendy stays. Bendy being moved to the side.

Me too now, this one wound worried me before but it makes complete sense now (I admittedly missed some of the ME testimony the first time around). Dunn shot far too quickly for him to be out of the door standing up then inside and leaning away from the bullets. And all the bullets in the door follow the exact same trajectory, even though one is aiming straight and two are aiming down. They could not have hit his door at different times or when the door was open and then closed. Clearly, he shot the first three when the car was parked, then the next three as it was pulling away. Then got out and shot into the rear. All aiming right at Jordan.

This jury has got to see this.
