Deputies: Man missing out of Quincy believed to be in danger
A 54-year-old Quincy man has been missing for more than 10 days, and the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating him.
Joseph Johnson was last seen December 28 in the Sawdust community of Quincy. He told his mother he was taking a walk “up the road” and would be back before dark, but he failed to return and has not been seen since, the sheriff’s office reported Tuesday afternoon.
Johnson is considered “endangered" due to a mental condition, and authorities said he left his medication at home. Johnson is described as a black male, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 120 pounds, with short graying hair.
