Presumed Located FL - Joshua Simmons, 35, staying at hotel, didn't come to see his kids, Tampa, 3 Mar 2022

TAMPA, Fla. — A Tampa family is desperate to find Joshua Simmons, a missing son and father.

Family says they last spoke to Simmons, 35, on March 3. He was a staying at a hotel near Ybor City.

Friends and family were out walking the streets of Ybor City on March 17, asking if anyone has any information on Joshua.

This doesn't sound good at all, does it? Where is this husband and dad?
Did he run away? I somehow don't get that vibe. Was he assaulted and his id stolen, and he is laying up in a hospital with a bad head injury leaving him with no memory? Is he an unknown in a hospital morgue? (That's a stretch.) Was he robbed and killed, and his body hidden? That's way out there, too, but what other situations could there be?

On March 3, 2022 Joshua Simmons left his family's residence and checked into the Days Inn. On March 4, 2022 he checked out and has not been seen or heard from since.

Based on his birthday as stated by his family in this MSM article Family of missing Tampa man keeps up desperate search I was able to pull up his arrest records in the Tampa area through the Hillsborough County Judicial Records database. They are extensive, a lot of typical traffic charges but also felony charges for drugs (with intent so I assume intent of sale), assault, armed robbery and burglary, but it doesn't appear to be anything open or pending (those showing reopen were consolidated with another case) Search Results I do hope his family finds him soon.
