Titusville girl dies after being found unconscious in bathtub; foster mother arrested, police say

‘I couldn’t do anything’: Mother of girl who died in Brevard foster care says the system failed her

I am beside myself and in shock. This foster mom worked at the elementary school my children attend, I was in complete shock when I saw this on the news. I really want to know what was going on in the foster home. How could they do nothing after her mother notified them on burn marks!!???? I am still gathering information on what went on and how this could happen.

Thank you Laughing! The school unfortunately has not reach out to parents or offered any type of support. The parents I have spoke to we’re not even aware. This type of case really intrigues me as far as the circumstances that lead to this happening, but I must say it hits hard when it local. My family and I are new here as well so that doesn’t help the shock factor. In Our former small east Texas town this kinda thing just doesn’t happen.
