Found Deceased FL - Julie Noppinger, Oviedo, 26 Feb 2022

  • #21
So we know Julie left the Shell station, then drove to Walmart and was seen on video there, apparently alone, at 8:30AM on 26 February. She was last seen driving on E. Colonial Drive. Her car was found in a parking lot and human remains have been found near the car.

Do we know what kind of parking area this was? Perhaps a retail area that might have some parking lot security cameras?

ETA: Do we know if there were any signs of foul play or struggle in or near the car? Hopefully the car has been processed by LE so that any fingerprints or other evidence has been documented.

Deputies find human remains near missing Oviedo woman’s car

Few more details:
The car was found at a Kobe Japanese Steakhouse in Waterford Lakes. Deputies found human remains nearby.

Investigators aren’t sure how long the car has been at the location.

Orange County sheriff’s crime scene techs spent hours searching the parking lot behind the restaurant.

At this point, investigators are calling it a death investigation. They don’t expect foul play. That could change once the medical examiner is done with the investigation into the cause of death.

After looking at street view, I'm shocked her car sat there so long without being discovered. There does appear to be a heavily-wooded area adjacent to the lot. Perhaps she walked into it and took her life?

There's also some water, not much, but some. And it would make sense in the direction she was see going.. hmm.. jmo

It looks like Walmart and the parking lot where Julie's car was found are only a couple of blocks away. So the human remains were found in the wooded area just to the west of the parking lot, correct?

We don't know that yet. We just know they were near the car.

Thanks @azure . The reason I mentioned the wooded area is because human remains in the parking lot area itself would be discovered quickly. At this time I don't believe the remains have been identified so we don't know for sure if they belong to Julie. IMO, if these are her remains from a month ago then they would be located somewhere away from her car or else they would have been found before now.

We'll have to wait for more details to be sure.

So she was with someone early in the morning, and something happened. The cops showed up. Later, she stopped by a gas station and then hit the local Walmart. Then? What could she have been buying? I feel like police know what she bought, and I think that is why they do not suspect that she was killed.

I don't know what was going on. Perhaps she was distraught and left home at night. So sad. I wish she had been able to get help.

Maybe a significant other or an ex had something to do with it? From what I've looked at online she seemed fairly happy to her family. I wonder if toxicology report will be posted anywhere, I'd like to know what happened.

The way an earlier article was worded, they were worried about her well-being. I am wondering if the incident earlier with police had to do with relationships issues. I wonder if this was self-harm. I am so very sad for her family. Death is tough, but self-harm is a whole other level to process and heal for the family.

My deepest sympathies to her family and friends. May they have answers quickly so that they can begin to heal.
