Also snipped from above link...
...Shields was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta frat, nicknamed Fiji or FIJI, according to the guys that posted and his sister Ashley. Established in 1848 in Jefferson College in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. The fraternity has inducted 180,000 members since its founding.

With values of “Friendship, Knowledge, Service, Morality & Excellence,” the fraternity says its mission is to unite “men in enduring friendships, stimulates the pursuit of knowledge, and builds courageous leaders who serve the world with the best that is in them.”

ETA: THIS link below from 25 mins ago says was previously a member of FIJI.

Just checking in on Justin. Seems there's no new news anywhere, which is so sad. Such a handsome young man. Just heartbreaking.

Also checking for news. Thinking of Justin’s family.

Hope today is the day they find him.

Was his car out of gas? Who owns the property where his car was found BEHIND locked gates? How did his car get BEHIND the locked gates? Do you think they were unlocked when he drove through, and then someone locked them? Are any of his frat brothers familiar with that road or that area?

I would think if the car was out of gas, that would be mentioned in the missing persons reports.

I hope he didn't go out there with the intention of hurting himself.

Interesting. I wonder if he pledged but didn’t get initiated, for whatever reason. In my Greek days (back in the dark ages :p) dropping out was extremely unusual, unless it happened while pledging/before becoming an active member.

It’s nice to see his brothers spreading the word. FIJIs on my campus were a good bunch of guys.

On another note - I’m struck by how little this handsome young man smiles in the photos we’ve seen of him. There could be many reasons for that, but it worries me.
