I saw that on News4Jax too and wondered. I haven't seen any mention of broken windows or anything like that. Maybe they boarded windows before the hurricane and just haven't taken them off of the top floor.

I think parental alienation, IMO is the main cause of all of this. A teen that age needs his mother to talk to which I found that with my 3 sons and the girls as my daughter did usually go to the father. This whole family dynamics he had to put up with plus a new school I believe threw him off the edge.

If Logan felt like she should be helping him or stepping in and she instead supported her son or looked the other way to avoid conflict. I don’t really mean this in a negative manner about Kristina, but some mothers will yield to their adult sons no matter what. I think this post isn’t coming off how I want it to .

She moved from Michigan to be closer to family according to one account, was that move to help her son ‘chill out’ with all the court wrangling and discord between LM’s parents? From what I've observed over the years from children whose parents are constantly in custody battles, the majority come away feeling like neither of the parents care about them. A lot of them also learned to manipulate their parents to get their way, even if they had to be dishonest to do it. I'm not saying all are like that but children learn what they live.

I find this to be true as well. the one step child mom was able to successfully alienate from dad recently stole almost 5k from her bf. was getting uber eats at school, bought clothes from Hollister, a $500 cannon camera and a $1400 apple laptop before they caught him. he had heard the bf yelling at his mom accusing her of stealing it for a week. then she really had the nerve to tell dad "idk where he would learn this sneaky behavior!" he had to bite his tongue on that... lol. golden child wasn't so golden I guess? dad suggested more therapy and she refused.

Just some notes I took... Feel free to make corrections.
2 of the 3 guns were his dad's guns from work.
He was found with one recently fired gun, 2 other guns and a bloody knife.

3 previous police calls:

*12/1/14 - to assist another agency
12/22/14 & 2/26/16 - property checks (to check on Logan Mott, a 'source says')
I'd so love to know more about these checks. Who called, what was the complaint, what was the result of the visit? Since he's a minor, we likely won't see these reports, right?

* To assist DCF. Mom filed report, LE assisted DCF, no further action.
There was also another DCF complaint, filed by someone at school, didn't get date, sorry

His lawyer says there are 'dozens' of alternative theories.
I, personally can't come up with dozens, but maybe that's why I am not a defense lawyer.
At this point, I am struggling to come up with even a few that I can't poke my own holes in. Sigh.


And now I understand why they might fight extradition.

Good gosh. Certainly she told the family about this?! Did they know he had a stash of knives under his bed?
Maybe that's why LE went back to the house and searched again.

IMO, both parents had to know what was going on with him. I think a lot more will come to light once everything is uncovered.

If you read the whole article it goes on to say she told dad, he knew about it and said he had his own knives that were his that he kept in a box under the bed. It sounds like there were things they knew about, but that is all just stuff I have read and nothing I can post here.
