It has been reported that Logan was not at school Monday or Tuesday this week.

What a very strange case. Logan missing school those days makes it seem that either an abduction happened late Sunday night/early Monday or they left voluntarily around those times. I don't know but it is so odd. I doubt they would attack the house that way since they knew where everything was and lived there. I wonder if he had a lot of friends at school. I am sure they are being interviewed. Dad being an LE makes for more targets. Mom last spoke with her son on Sunday night.

From what Logan's mom has been telling reporters it sounds like she believes the two have been abducted. LE is still trying to work out a timeline. What a terrible situation. No sightings of the car.

Sad to hear on the local Jax news that the FBI is not involved, and that reporters are speculating based on that observation that it's a family domestic situation. I wish I knew why. There are a couple of fugitives in the area that are armed and dangerous and those are the ones we know about. Also, the Dad is a corrections officer for JSO, so I assume he works at the county jail. I'll look for links to verify what I've posted.

It has been reported that mom does not live in the state, so that answers unsaid questions I was thinking about if she had daily contact with him even when he was at his dad’s house.

If his insulin pump was left behind- it indicates he was interrupted while changing it/ filling it OR he was showering and it was disconnected OR it was intentionally left behind by Logan.

Highly unlikely he had a 'spare' (as a PP posited) as they are terribly expensive. My grandson wears a pump and he has never been offered a spare. It was understood when he got it that he needed to be uber-careful with it as it is literally his lifeline.

UPDATE: Police are now blocking Seagate Ave from 4th St to 3rd St. Still unclear if there has been a development. @ActionNewsJax

Investigators are setting up tents in the front yard. Scene continues to get more & more active. Looks like they’re in it for the long haul. @ActionNewsJax

Maybe they're just setting up a command post?

I agree. Unless they are responding to the news report's criticism that local LE has not called in the FBI and are ramping things up... But I also worry that they may be digging. Why need a command post at the house? Evidence collection? Just spinning...

Just watched News4Jax and Jim Piggot explained that forensic detectives are scouring the scene and are combing over everything for clues. That was the tent set up and the added LE vehicles. Also they are keeping reporters back. Jim Piggot (a News4Jax reporter) has been in touch with Logan's Mom in Missouri via text and phone calls. Logan's Mom states that everything about this disappearance is out of character for both of the missing.

I think you're right, Ray_of_hope. It's kind of odd to set up at the house but they're still missing so it doesn't look like there's any news. I would like to know what the forensics team was looking for and what evidence, if any, they've found.

Such a scary situation! From what reporters have tweeted it doesn't seem like Logan is dangerous so I don't think he's behind the disappearance. Like Katydid23 and wantjustice said this could be some sort of revenge act by someone dad tangled with.
