I believe the sighting in PA was on Thursday, so he did not travel only on Friday.
I also think it makes sense for Gma to stay at Logans house (especially if he had bus service to school). She had just moved into her home the previous week and may not have even been unpacked. Actually, the previous week was probably during the middle of dads trip still, so her staying at the home may have been mutually beneficial.

Totally agreeI really cannot see how he was not involved. A boy doesn't just take his grandma's car and drive almost the whole length of the country for no reason.
Yes, I can't see what or how it could be differentAt this point, I think he still is the #1 suspect.
Opinion subject to change.
Aaron Bowker, the public affairs liaison for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Buffalo, said Mott was taken into custody Friday evening after encountering border patrol officers at the Peace Bridge.

It’s ‘the more to the story’ that I referred to in my previous post. Did LM walk into a crime scene and ran for his own protection? Dad arrived hom on Wed, LM was stopped on Late Fri night. There are five days unaccounted for in the timeline. IMO

I thought a text was sent on Tue, you don't think he sent that text?
Wouldn't he still have been home on Tue?
I think that he was still in the house on Tuesday in a blind panic.
Did he even HAVE a drivers license at 15!?

No, he did not. I pointed out in an earlier post that *if* he had planned to go to Canada, he would have needed a driver's license and birth certificate (or passport) so I was wondering if he had a state issued ID and his birth certificate or passport on him at the time he was detained or if not having those things was perhaps the reason for the illegal U-turn
Perhaps finding his passport could have been part of the “ransacking”? Most young teens might not even be sure where their parents keep them. Perhaps he was tearing apart some closets and drawers looking for t in a rush to leave.
