Police say they are confident the bones in the bag are from an adult.

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that a spokesman for the sheriff's office says that it is an adult. I wonder if it's Jennifer Kessee? I'm not sure if you can link to the Orlando Sentinel??? Not sure if you have to register.

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that the remains are those of a woman. They estimate the woman died between two weeks, up to two months ago. They also report the body had upper and lower dentures.

OKAHUMPKA - The daughter of an 83-year-old woman admitted dumping her body on the side of a clay road and cashing two of her retirement checks, Lake County sheriff's Sgt. John Herrell said Friday.

Debra Loreth, 53, placed her mother, Jeanne Vasa, in a garbage bag and dropped her body on a rural road in west Lake County near Okahumpka, Herrell said.

Loreth told detectives that she dumped her mother's body in hopes she would be discovered and given a proper burial, Herrell said. The Sheriff's Office is requesting an arrest warrant for Loreth on misdemeanor charges of improper disposal of a body.
