I did note that in Cieha's....

Could it be possible BF or others close needed money and sold her.. I am at such a loss... Do we know if mom, mom BF or BF have a car? If they do what kind of areas can it drive through? Is it reliable, how far distance wise could they easily travel? What was the weather like that Thursday night. It would be really nice if we knew if BF went to work Friday.

There used to be some old docks and trees kinda behind the Walmart on Del Prado, it has been several years since I have been over there but used to fish back there and it was pretty secluded. May be all built up with houses now.

Mom is still silent!
Still pretty secluded there. Not much has changed there. Nearby Rosen Park, woods and Paradise Marina would be good places to search, too.
Weather was light rain until 8pm then clear and 73. Nice and cool that night. Moon was waning crescent, so pretty dark that night.

We know she was in her apt 8pm... Would she leave her home without her phone as it was getting dark, not likely. Unless maybe she was running down to her Mom's. Quick trip to pick something up or drop something off. Unless BF was driving she would have walked....

If she didn't leave willingly she could have been drugged by someone or unconscious and it would have had to been dark so no one would see. I would think if she was transported at a later time there would have been some evidence of that in the apartment. If she left willingly most likely unwilling sometime after 8pm probably much later in the night and if he was in fact at the apartment before work Friday morning... Where would one go, avoiding cameras, not a long time window, how would you travel, park, walk and carry but not look suspicious. Would they need help. Wonder if that traffic like camera in that area was checked Thursday night for any activity for others besides Lauren or known vehicles if any.

Family says last activity on phone was:

8pm Thursday night from her apt. text or call I don't know that
10am Friday, Facebook video call to BF, no answer

It is hard for me to believe that she went from 8pm Thursday night all the way to 10am the next morning...14 hours of no phone activity. I am sorry you tell me what 29yo F now days puts there phone down for 14 hours.....

BF also stated he thought she was going out to look for apts. Don't you think there would be some phone activity, scheduling or confirming appointment to see it, something in that 14 hour window.

Do you mind linking or pointing me in the direction where it states there was no phone activity after 8pm Thursday (until the 10am call Fri)?
I tried scanning through the thread, but couldn’t find it.

Police work to trace Cape Coral woman's suspicious disappearance

A man talking to police didn’t want to be interviewed on the record but stated that the day before (June 18), Lauren asked him about available apartments, saying she “wanted to get out of the situation she was in.”

He said he again saw her the next day, on June 19, around 8 a.m. and waved at her as she was walking along the route from the park to her apartment.

If this is true, then that puts her coming from the park at 8am on June 19.

No phone, no money, no trace of Lauren Dumolo: Where is the Cape Coral mother? - NBC2 News

From the post above...
To note:
•her boyfriend’s name is Gabriel Pena
•he stated he last seen her when he left for work at 6am
•a maintenance worker saw her at her apartment complex around 8:15am
•police were able to track down the last time her cell phone was used. Just after 10am, Lauren, or someone using Lauren’s phone, tried to video chat her boyfriend on Facebook from the apartment. Gabriel did not answer.
•Days after her disappearance, her purse was found at Four Freedoms Park.
•she often walked there and meditated by the water.
•About a week later, one of her shirts was found buried in the sand.
•Lauren’s missing persons report was filed on a Sunday by Gabriel, two days after she vanished
•but due to an error in the report, detectives didn’t start investigating until five days after she was last heard from
•LE are following many leads, but will not release the names of any persons of interest in this case.
•her boyfriend said he spoke to investigators and took a polygraph test
•her boyfriend said she wasn’t using drugs and wouldn’t harm herself. Her family agreed.

There’s a witness who says she asked him about apartments on Thursday, June 18.
Then the same witness says he saw her again on Friday, June 19 at 8am. He waved at her as she was coming from the park back to her apartment.

•How credible is this witness? I’m not sure, but it sounds realistic to me.

Then a different article stated a maintenance worker saw her on Friday, June 19 at 8:15am walking to her apartment.

•Is this maintenance worker the same as unidentified witness above or a totally different person? If different, then that makes her heading to her apartment Friday morning even more probable, IMO.

Then there’s the phone call at 10am that LE stated was the last bit of activity on her phone & it came from within her apartment as she (or someone) attempted to contact the boyfriend through FB.

•Was it Lauren who used her phone at 10am Fri or was it someone else at the apartment?
Why didn’t the boyfriend answer? Does he normally answer her calls when he’s at work? Has LE verified he was at work that morning during that time frame (6-10ish am)?

Lauren could have been coming from her mom's and not the park.

Didn't her boyfriend initially say the reason he didn't report her missing right away was because he thought she was off with someone "getting messed up" or something to that effect? Essentially implying she had relapsed. Yet now, he says she wasn't using drugs....hmmmm.

I had to go back through the thread, but I found the article where he was quoted saying her friend had gotten her all messed up on drugs.
Boyfriend of missing Cape Coral woman speaks

Agreed.

If you come back from work in the late afternoon and her phone is right there in the appartment and she is gone. By early evening you would be out searching the park, right? Calling friends, calling her dad and her sister, maybe they heard from her. But for sure you would do something like that if she is not home by midnight.

So the next morning 8am. You haven't seen your loved one for over 24 hours. IMO you go straight to the Police.

So her phone is right there, her dad calls and sends text. Did Pena contact him? Saying he hasn't seen her since he left for work on friday morning. I mean from friday morning till sunday is quite a long time. Her dad was immediately concerned when she didn't made contact that sunday, father's day.

I think that her boyfriend is responsible.

with that said, lately my mind has been wandering to the neighbor that kept seeing her and stated she "needed to get out of her current situation"
As someone who's been in crappy relationships, its NOT something I would be comfortable stating to a just an acquaintance, it would be hard enough just casually talking about a relationship in that way to close loved ones. There's shame and denial in being in an abusive relationship and if she's being that candid and casual about it I feel she would have already left him. Just a bit too convenient for a neighbor to quick point the finger, I'd like to know more about him.

I would feel much differently if this neighbor was an elderly woman or something.
Moo.

If the neighbor/maintenance worker lives on site, he may be somewhat a "trusted" person. And, he likely knows more about a lot of people, than they would be comfortable with. And has keys to everything.

It’s been noted on SM that Shannen Ryan under arrest in the Leila Cavett case is also a member of Light Workers of the World group. I’m not sure if he had any interaction there with Lauren or not.

Wouldn't that be something? Is there any way to find out if the two interacted? Of course LE would know in a hot second, they have both of their cell records.

We spoke to Lauren’s dad, Paul Dumulo, who has been in Southwest Florida since his daughter went missing. He traveled from California when she failed to call him last on Father’s Day Sunday.

He told us she always kept in touch during good times and bad. But he fears the worst every day his daughter remains missing.

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers and CCPD say, so far, they’re not getting very many tips.

CCPD is asking for anyone with information to come forward. Tipsters can call CCPD at 239-574-3223. Tipsters can also submit an anonymous tip at the Cape Coral Police website, TipSubmit, a message through CCPD social media platforms or Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-8477 using case number 20-011323.
Investigators say public help critical in search for Cape Coral woman

If you have information, lot's of ways to bring that forward to CCPD anonymously ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Do you know where her daughter was at the time LAuren went missing? I have heard reports that she would never leave her daughter. If she did up and leave, she would have made sure her daughter was somewhere safe.

It was reported via MSM by Lauren's dad that Lauren's daughter lives up north with the paternal grandmother. The article is here on the thread back a few pages.

Marc Hoover: Missing woman in Florida: What happened to Lauren Dumolo? | The Clermont Sun

From article:
I received a message from a concerned Florida woman who I will call Jane. She said a young mother named Lauren Dumolo had disappeared from Cape Coral, Florida. She asked if I would help share Lauren’s story.

This story begins on Father’s Day of 2020.
Paul Dumolo looked forward to receiving a call from his daughter Lauren. That call never came.
...
He has since told the Cape Coral media that he believes Lauren is deceased. He thinks someone possibly abducted and killed her. Although he fears the worst, he hasn’t taken any time to cry because he must find his daughter.

She had recently lost her job because of the coronavirus. She can be seen on video visiting different locations for a new job. So far, it’s the only video footage capturing Lauren before she disappeared.

Gabriel Pena, Lauren’s boyfriend, is one of the last people to have seen Lauren. He claimed she was home when he went to work before 6 a.m. on June 19th. Pena said he took a lie detector test and doesn’t know what happened to Lauren.

Lauren’s purse was found at a nearby park. After her purse was found, someone recovered Lauren’s shirt buried in sand.

The Cape Coral Police Department is handling Lauren’s disappearance. Detective Nick Jones is heading up the investigation.

Where is she?

Yes.. I have been following this scenario and any ties to SR.
There are 2 other girls missing also, one "followed" SR as did Lauren.
I haven't found proof of the 3rd girl 'following" him, but still looking.

While I think most of us go to the first obvious conclusion with a spouse/ BF, neighbor, etc. (and it usually proves to be accurate) it doesn't hurt to look into any connections with that crazy weirdo SR as he did just get out of prison, he was basically homeless and traveled around, mostly Florida area.

she lost custody of her daughter several years ago. she was working toward getting rights back by reports.

Has there been any formal acknowledgement of the shirt found at the park being hers?

Because this would give something different to think about. Who has access to her clothes? Or the person who had something to with her disappearance was in possession of it.

This would mean the purse as well as the shirt could be placed in the park by the possible perpetrator. If you ask me that's no longer just a missing person's case for LE, they have to have something else on their mind, maybe even from early on.

Has LE confirmed and clarified whether Lauren's boyfriend was at work?
