Interesting indeed, although it makes me sad to see a certain person inclined to troll is making insensitive comments that are then getting addressed in the group, thereby taking the focus away from finding Lauren.

I still wonder about that Light Workers group.

Also-- the WPB address associated with her name is a mere 1 mile away from my office. I will talk to the building manager and see if he can put a flyer up (the board is locked so I can't just pin it up myself). Maybe one in the elevator, too. I feel bad I'm just realizing this now. Some people in this immediate area have to know who she is.

Trolling stinks and I never understand it, but you never know who may post something valuable. Thank you so much @veritasquo for posting her flyer over in WPB. Maybe that will bring something new to light.

Hey all-just wanted to let you know that I saw Lauren is still featured on our large electronic billboard that everyone passes by coming over the toll bridge into the Cape. I hadn’t seen it in a while so I was really glad to see it today.

Thank you for the warm welcome, everyone. I am involved in the sober community in the WPB community (PBC and north Broward County in general), so this case has been pulling at my heartstrings. Will be looking into places in the immediate area where I can post flyers. SE FL has a strong recovery community, so IMO, it's a sign from the universe that I came across Lauren's story-- someone with a similar history who happened to live a mile from my office at some point in the recent past. I feel compelled to do whatever I can to help / give back. It also serves as a reality check for me, a fact which, on it's own, makes me feel obligated to help out in whatever manner I can.

Lauren and her family remain in my thoughts. I cannot fathom what it's like to go through something like this...

Virtual vigil today and walk over to the Four Freedoms Park in honor of Lauren on National Missing Persons Day. We have also been seeing more of the yard signs for Lauren around town.

Community members keep search alive for Cape Coral woman

Friends of a missing woman in Southwest Florida hope to get some closure.

Lauren Dumolo disappeared in Cape Coral in 2020. Wednesday, her friends and Cape Coral Police Department hosted a walk and candlelight vigil on National Missing Person’s Day.


They are urging people to come forward with any information they have about Dumolo’s whereabouts or anyone else who has disappeared.

Nationally, 2,300 people go missing each day. While Dumolo is still missing, the community says they won’t stop fighting to bring her home.

There is! Bring Lauren Home (official group with family) the one referenced above kicked Lauren’s family out. I am one of the admins for this group.

The wording on that third bullet point kind of stood out to me. “Spent the night with her boyfriend” makes it sounds like she didn’t live there and just stayed over after a date.

It was Lauren’s apartment in her name. Gaby lived there with her. He allegedly saw her 6/19. That last verifiable communication was with Cassie around 6 the day before. We consider Lauren to have gone missing 6/18.

Sorry, I'd meant to reply to this earlier. Valid question. I dont believe we've seen any reference to GP having retracted his statement so I believe we have a case of conflicting information and people would be left to make up their own minds about what to believe. Personally, (MOO) it makes some amount of sense that a person wishing to remain anonymous would try to retain that anonymity if someone were to identify them. So the note that "maintenance worker never said anything" is not surprising to me. Of course there is also the very real possibility that GP made a mistake or is deliberately trying to cast blame away from himself. I would hope that GP would have shared any concerns he had about any one specific person with LE if he does indeed have any. It sounds like LE has interviewed many more people that we're aware of so its hard to say what other input they may have about GP, the anonymous party, any maintenance workers (or workers or staff of any sort affiliated with not only the apartment building but possibly also the park or other nearby business), or other random neighbors. I'm certainly not trying to state that any specifi party involved in this is definitely a person we should blame for LD's disappearance. But I also don't see any reason to dismiss them either.

My apologies if it's sounded like I've been targeting any one party here. That certainly hasn't been my intention.

No mention to date of Lauren’s house keys in the apartment or in her purse.

Where are Lauren’s keys?

Was she in the habit of leaving the apartment without locking up?

Was she in the habit of leaving doors unlocked while she was home?

Did GP find the apartment unlocked when he returned from work?

Gaby had a key. Lauren’s keys in her purse. Apt was locked.

Tim has had a grand auto theft charge with a 50K bond, trespassing charge, and some others I am sure you know about. Gabi had a paternity lawsuit in WS and, as you know, the DV charge in FL. Not all of the places Tim and Gabi have lived have public records.
Q: While it could be a pure coincidence, how often do two people live in Wisconsin and end up living in the same area in Cape Coral, FL. AND connected to a missing person case. While it is unknown if Tim and Gabi knew each other in the 90’s, it is interesting if they did. Also, that Tim is the only person who can corroborate Gabi’s story that Lauren was seen on 6/19. With that said, Tim stated to me that he didn’t really know Victor and Gabi.
