Callahan Walsh hosts an hour-long special spotlighting missing persons cases with IN PURSUIT: THE MISSING.

In the first featured story, Callahan travels to the picturesque town of Cape Coral, Florida to learn more about the disappearance of 29-year-old single mother, Lauren Dumolo, who was reported missing on June 19, 2020. In his quest to bring Lauren home, Callahan uncovers dark secrets and learns that certain people in Lauren's life might not have had her best interest at heart.

few clues are left behind, leaving Callahan to conduct boots-on-the-ground investigations into these disappearances. Speaking with law enforcement and the victim's family to understand the circumstances surrounding the fateful day they were last seen, Callahan works to reveal any leads or information that have been unearthed since they've been gone and asks viewers to call if they have information on the cases.

I dont like disappeared, they always make it too much of their own story. They never use maps, visual timelines and/or stated facts. I just stopped watching that show a long time ago. But attention for her case is good.

I hope Walsh's show is a little bit more grounded.

Cape Coral detective, family won't give up search for missing mom (winknews.com)
[...]

Detectives say they have surveillance video of Cape Coral woman Lauren Dumolo applying for a job the day before she disappeared, and a string of men connected to her have a history with law enforcement.

Detectives have no suspects in the case. The lead detective says it’s frustrating, especially because this is still the only case he hasn’t solved.

[...]

CCPD continues to piece together clues. Det. Nick Jones says Dumolo applied for a job at a Marathon gas station on Cape Coral Parkway.

Then, a day, later she disappeared.

“Obviously, that she wasn’t going anywhere,” Jones said. “She planned on staying in Cape Coral.”

[...]

CCPD says none of the tips that have been received in Lauren Dumolo’s case have panned out. Anyone with information can contact CCPD.

“It’s frustrating for anybody,” Jones said. “There’s a lot of hard work that I’ve been put in by detectives, by members of the community, so it’s frustrating. Everybody wants answers including myself.”

That does not sound good... I think they lost a lot of ground those first days, because the live-in boyfriend assumed she went to friends. When LE showed up at her house I believe 5 days already had passed.

Is there still no 100% confirmation of the shirt found at the park belonging to her?

I think Lauren’s story may be on Dr. Oz today.

Also, the Missing episode featured on Discovery + ran the next day on the Discovery ID channel, so if you have that in your lineup you can check it out. If not, Discovery + has a free trial.

Thank you Family and friends of Lauren for going national. Please keep going.

Lauren’s cell phone was found in her apartment, which led her family to suspect foul play, as according to her sister, Lauren would not go anywhere without her phone. Lauren’s friends and family believe that she most likely went to Four Freedoms Park before she vanished as she would go there often to sit by the water and meditate. Lauren’s purse was found at the Four Freedoms Park on the same day as her disappearance. A week later, a homeless man kicked up one of Lauren’s old shirts in the sand at the same park, but her father, Paul, believes that it could have been planted there.

I have been trying to find a case number for this girl so we can start a thread for her. So I’m parking her here for right now if that’s ok with you all. The address she was last seen at is on the opposite side of The Bimini basin from Lauren’s apt. See map below. ://www.ping4central.com/a/29ac7a80-878d-11eb-a73f-5d28a76e45e7/default.htm
