Investigators respond to Cape Coral neighborhood off Country Club Blvd
We have confirmation this is NOT Lauren.
This would be from at least 5 years ago.

Nearly 1 year later, still no answers in Cape Coral woman's disappearance
Detectives and Dumolo’s family still hope someone in the community will come forward with the information they need to find her.
“Get us to a place where we can find closure, we can move forward, because the agony of not knowing is the most difficult thing to live with,” Carey said.
An event is planned for next weekend to honor and advocate for Dumolo. It’s happening at Four Freedoms Park on June 19, the one-year mark of her disappearance. A bench at the park will be dedicated to her. Organizers said she liked to do yoga at the park, and they’re asking everyone to wear pink, her favorite color.

Maybe everybody here, think about setting aside a few minutes on June 19 to think about Lauren and her family. Maybe do something fun. I think Lauren would like that. Maybe do some yoga. For Gross and Cassie Carey, every day without their sister Lauren is a rollercoaster of emotions.
“Still not having the answers… closures… not knowing. It’s just constant,” Gross said.
“It’s like reopening a wound. We’re never going to be able to heal and move forward from it,” Carey said.

That’s a lovely idea. I’m going to put it on my calendar to remind myself to say an extra prayer for her. I wonder if they’ll have another search or vigil to bring awareness to her case.

•bf states she last saw Lauren at home when he left for work around 6am
•Lauren, or someone using Lauren’s phone, made a Facebook Video Call to bf’s phone between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., G didn’t answer.
•a maintenance man stated he talked to Lauren during the morning
•bf came home from work that evening but Lauren wasn’t there
•Lauren’s purse was found at Four Freedoms Park
June 21
•bf filed a missing person report with the Cape Coral Police Department at 6:23 p.m.
•bf did admit he was filing the missing persons report because Lauren’s father asked her to.

Her family continues to hold out hope they will one day learn what happened to her. While they wish she would return back home healthy and safe, they don’t believe she is alive.

Lauren was missing for two days before she was reported to police as a missing person. Paul Dumolo said he told Pena to file the report and that he wanted a copy.
In Pena's written statement to police he said he spent the night with Lauren at her apartment on Thursday, June 18, and left for work in the morning on June 19.
He returned to the apartment at 10 p.m. and she was not there. He stated that he called police, but they informed him that he had to wait 48 hours, according to the statement.

Before Lauren's disappearance, she was involuntarily hospitalized twice under the Baker Act. According to family, she had been hearing voices and thinking people were after her.
The last time Carey saw her sister was on June 13, 2020, after the first time she was Baker Acted and shortly before she would be again.
A few days later Laurenstarted acting odd again and was hospitalized for a second time.
Paul Dumolo was on the phone with her and she told him she had no idea what was happening to her and that it was almost like someone had been giving her something.
Laurenhad never had any mental health issues before this, Paul Dumolo said.
Carey believes that her sister was dealing with emotions and trauma from a recent abortion.
Lauren was released from her second Baker Act on June 18, and immediately started applying for jobs around town.
Her goal was to get her life back on track so that she could start the process of regaining custody of her 6-year-old daughter.

Zalisko (PI) believes there are multiple people responsible for Lauren's disappearance and eventually one of them will start talking to make a deal.
