Details of Disappearance
Laurie was last seen in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on September 21, 1976. She and her husband, Anthony Amico, supposedly went out to the drugstore and Laurie has never been heard from again. Anthony had divorced her by 1980; he later became a major real estate holder in the St. Petersburg, Florida area. Few details are available in Laurie's case. She was the daughter of a powerful real estate developer in Las Vegas, Nevada and left behind one son by Anthony.

I wonder if Laurie was traveling in a vehicle. If she was then there is the possibility that she drove into one of the many canals in that area. Fort Lauderdale has so many canals and back then it was all country.

Laurie is likely alive. Authorities believe she left on her own accord.

The LB mentioned in that obit is on facebook with a few pictures I think it's the same one as she's listed as being in Vegas. The age matches up and I think the nose looks the same but hard to tell on the rest of the facial features IMO.
