Who has two shovels in their car, especially one you live out of. I don’t think I’ve read anywhere that they were a known recent purchase.

Could it possibly suggest pre meditation or that there were two because he had help digging somewhere to hide her body beforehand.
Then used them to attack/break windows as that was all he had that could do the job in the car.

I don't think he really had much of a following. I think it was made to look like it on his sm but it was just another con.
I think he is/was still nothing more than a thief, a druggie, a liar and a nut. And now I think he is a murderer too. I won't be surprised to learn he's murdered others also. And I think LC is the one he spoke of who called him a pedophile and serial killer in the making. Why? Because he exposed that to her.
Oh! And I also expect he raped her. jmo

One other tidbit of information from yesterday's kidnapping hearing: The FBI agent stated that they have over 100,000 hours of video from Walmart and RaceTrac combined and have not been able to watch all of it yet. I'm sure they divide it up among multiple agents as this would take 12,500 8-hour work days to watch it all. However, I think this is part of the reason they have not yet brought murder charges. The FBI is still gathering evidence.

I seriously do not think he put her in a dumpster. He had shovels for a reason she is somewhere other than a dumpster. Everglades is not far from there as well as that ping his phone was that was 30 mins away from where Kam was found.

I was wondering if the shovels were from Leila's truck. It has been noted that the truck did not legally belong to her. The condition of the truck was pretty banged up so it was most likely used as a work truck and may have already had those shovels in the back. Also, the first video of her driving up to the RaceTrac shows the bed of the truck pretty packed up. If she locked the doors to protect her and Kam from SR, then he may have just saw the shovels in the back and used them out of opportunity to break the window or to do something else nefarious with them. Has there been any note of to whom the shovels belonged or where they were acquired? MOO

I think it's possible SR had the shovels in his trunk. He was living out of his car and I have a feeling these along with other tools were kept in his car.

Two shovels were recovered during the search warrant of Leila's truck. There was no mention in the hearing of how those shovels came to be in the truck or who bought them. There were droplets of a red substance on both of them; however, only one tested positive for presumptive blood.

Perhaps her body was in the back of the truck at some point and shed blood on items back there? SR is seen on video moving items from the interior and bed of Leila's truck to the RaceTrac dumpster. It's odd that he would not have discarded the shovels as well if they had blood on them.

LE may have disrupted what was a work in progress of SR getting rid of evidence. Maybe he just wasn't done yet.

I don't think he had much of a following either. He "acquired" many more once people heard about him on the news and wanted to find out more about him. He was deleting offensive posts faster than he could read them. So it makes it look like more supported him because all of those posts are gone. Then he made that statement that he was blocking anybody except those who were real witches. It must have really bothered him that so many people were accusing him because finally he posted he was making his account private. Shortly after that he was arrested so he never got the chance! He must be seething in his cell knowing people can still post on it.

I also think that post about him being a pedophile and serial killer in the making was about Leila. He also criticized Christians beiefs.

It sounds like Leila was assertive and not afraid to stand up to him. I said this before and I still think she challenged him about some of his claims. He may have perceived that as an aggression against him. If she was supposed to become his apprentice he probably expected her to worship him as a god like his other apprentices. Instead, something went wrong and he flew into a rage and killed her. Whatever drugs he was taking may have contributed to his actions as well.

I also think there may have been a sexual element to the crime. He makes a lot of sexual references in his posts, and some of them are twisted. I think he views women as objects that can be controlled and manipulated to meet his needs. And yes, his "business" is a farce and a means to feed his ego and lure women to him.

But not anymore. Out of darkness comes light! He can be as dark as he wants in prison but he won't be able to hurt anyone else.

Can someone explain where the audio was or is and how folks found it was accessible?

For some silly reason I thought this was going to be in federal court due to federal charges, and no audio/video allowed... but it was in a normal court with the feds testifying? I'm confused and want to learn.

Thank you for that info! I was not able to listen in to the hearing so missed quite a few details. It is possible that he put her in the back of the truck. I always assumed that her body was kept and transported in her truck rather than his car. With the broken window in the front, it would probably have been safer to transport her body in the bed of the truck, perhaps under the blue tarps. MOO

His income, although he was homeless is more than mine as a retired person...... with a home, with a garden, in a subdivision, with a car that is my own etc.

There was s number and a password you use to call in. They said its illegal to record it. I'm sure the court itself recorded it. I bet someone listening did too but would be charged if they were caught.

It was a regular bond hearing, with testimony. You are correct that audio/video recording was prohibited. But the public can conference call into hearings and listen to the proceedings, which many of us did.

Just a slim possibility, but what if SR asked LC to help him plant some kind of meditative garden with herbs/a tree, whatever - to advance her "powers", make money ect.?
The ideal opportunity and excuse to get LC into a more private spot, with one shovel for him and one for her to help dig the hole - and well you can guess the rest.
