Yes, it would have fit the - 'she drove off with guys in a black car scenario.' However, I think SR's 'fun in the sun' clouded his mind. Although, he would have all of his followers think he was in SOFL on a mission of healing --CL in local hospital. He wanted to stay in Florida, IMO, and enjoy himself. I think Kam is alive because SR just couldn't bring himself to harm the boy. And as @CharlestonGal pointed out, Kam may have accidentially slipped away. Before the FBI reported on the likelihood of LC not being alive, I thought Kam slipped away from her. JIMO
That was Leila's "fault" too. He was going to give her an additional $500 for cleaning out the truck but she never returned so he was keeping the $ and doing it himself.
That's exactly what I think. The witch craft and healing was just a front. He even borrowed terms from Harry Potter!
I hope (I can't bear to think of the alternative) Kam was exhausted from the day and sound asleep when whatever happened to Leila occurred. He wasn't able to tell the people who found him or LE his name so I don't know if he could articulate any useful information about events that transpired. JMO
I wonder if he was so stressed and frightened he couldn't get the words out. A 2 year old can usually speak somewhat. (not always tho)
I think prior to his May-June visits to Ohio -- where he picked up the car -- he was living out of suitcases. On one of his posts from May, he said he did not have a car. So, those suitcases may have been from his prior living situtation. He was traveling from town to town in his "healing/exorcism business" and I am convinced he made his clients/victims pay a pretty penny for it. JIMO
That poor child! I just want to hug him and give him a warm, safe place to be a child so he can grow up to have a happy life. I truly believe that your home life as a child has a profound impact on the rest of your life. JMO
Whether SDR believed it or not, his more than 126,000 followers -- at the time-- did. And, he was making money doing it. I might add that his FB followers have significantly dwindled since his arrest. It is a weird coincidence the "female sacrifice on July 26-27" thing. Is it a practice of the Santeria? I cannot remember. Anyway, I don't think Leila's end was for religious sacrifice intentionally. It was probably more a "rage or passion" incident. I suspect, she rejected him or was interested in other men -- as he mentioned in his almost hour long FB rant -- and without much thought, in the heat of the moment, he took her life. JIMOAnything is possible with this guy. I don't personally believe in witchcraft and hexes and sacrifices, but maybe he really did. Maybe he believed he really could cure CL with the appropriate sacrifice.
July 27th was the human sacrifice date on the calendar. What if in his crazy mind, Kam was to be that sacrifice and he lured Leila to S Fl with that goal in mind? Was that why he was so agitated on his rant video when he talked about Leila putting him off for days? In his mind she HAD to be there before the 27th?

It's just freaky to me that 2 hours prior to Leila's arrival, SR posted to his facebook that he sacrifices animals and bends their life force to his will. 2 hours.
@CharlestonGal it is super creepy. I guess I think if sacrifice was his plan, wouldn’t he have been better prepared? Or have I watched too many movies? There are countless images in my mind. Sacrifice is a religious ceremony, not a slipshod trip to Walmart for a chloroform concoction — among other things. JIMO
You are recalling correctly. It was reported in a MSM article that Kam was babbling/baby talk when questioned.

Perhaps a relative that was used to being around him can understand what he's trying to say.
Imo he wasn't a "religious" man doing any sacrifices. He's a psychopath that murders. And he knows he's a fraud that just babbles.
