I watched a little of that video and had to turn it off, the guy is something else imo. I don't feel he is innocent or a good guy..... there were some strange things, his demeanour came across as angry and aggressive, the facial expressions, the stance - I don't know - there is something unusual about him and his story imho.

Hope Leila is found soon x

geeze SR and TS are like a bunch of teenagers with the passive aggressive messages. I just hope LE can find Leila soon.

  • #643
TS is the girlfriend SR was living with when Leila, according to him, first showed up at their house in Muscle Shoals. SR and TS broke up earlier this year.

I would imagine the FBI has spoken to TS, given that SR threw her name out in his video. jmo
Maybe SR(I think his real name is reversed RS) is trying to make TS look like a liar to protect himself from what she told the cops about him. MOO

I get a really odd feeling from him as well and it’s not just because of the unusual behaviours or psych flags, I don’t think. Or possible drug psychosis, I guess. I’ve really been struggling to articulate what it is but I think it might be his detachment from reality and insistence on creating and inhabiting this weird spiritual world where he’s god. I think it gives me the fear because add that to all the things you mention and combined effect is the feeling that he’s more than capable of not viewing others as even human, or as being of any ‘worth’. That he’d quite easily do anything at all to maintain and indulge his delusions. The rants about caring and helping don’t ring true at all, they’re jarring.

He’s just really... chilling. And not in the good way. He may not have harmed Leila of course, but he’s certainly pretty frightening.

In his video he said he is in Tennessee, but I don't think he's left the state of Florida. He made it pretty clear he does not want to cooperate with the FBI.
There's one video he's filming in his car. Tan seats, black body. Then the photo of what he claims is his car being searched, the car is silver/gray. I just thought that was strange. How many cars does this guy own? Could the guys in the black car be his buddies? Is there a car of guys at all? Is anything confirmed by anyone but him? Also in one of his posts he mentions sacrificing animals? I believe that post was dated the day or around the day LC went missing.

And these desperate people online connect with him. That's scary.

Apologies for overstating it...you're correct, there are all kinds of people interested in various aspects of the occult. I have the impression that the kind of services this guy is providing appeal more to the young and vulnerable, but I could well be wrong about that too.
His "service" isn't the norm, so not overstated in my opinion.

I wonder if many of his followers or assistants are young women who are vulnerable, like Leila. She may have unknowingly gotten herself into a dangerous situation.

A few of his apprentices actually favor L in their appearance. He has a type.

I agree that chilling is an appropriate descriptor of him. He reminds me of a narcissist I knew. SR is putting on a show and yet he can't help but bash the victim while proclaiming himself a saint. When I hear people speak in such absolutes, I can't believe anything they say. A homeless man buys a truck for $3000 ? He lost me with all his movements and outlandish protestations but that right there was unbelievable. If I were LE, I would need to see where he withdrew the $3000 from. I have a feeling they are on to him and just tightening up the case or following him around to see if he leads them to her. I remember LE were surveilling Lori and Chad for months before they were arrested and I was surprised to hear that because I was wondering what the heck was taking so long to arrest these people. I believe the FBI has got the case in hand.

Exactly how I felt regarding how he spoke about LC, something not right about that at all... He professed to care about her, yet can say nothing good about her. Something wrong about this whole situation.

I usually try to look for the good in people, but it seems this guy is a totally self-absorbed weirdo...

He seems like a character straight out of "American Horror Story" to me.....unreal

SR is seriously giving me Lie_tecia Stauch vibes. Remember the cousin it interview?? Over here answering questions about things ain't nobody even asked yet. Pre-splaining everything. He claims to be a Witch, well guess what I claim to be a Witch Hunter ;)

I think a lot of his back story is true. When he got to the part about hr coming to Florida, especially the men in the gas station part, his entire way of speaking changed. That, to me, said this is part that is embellished. It was not well laid out and things didn't make sense. But there were a few things that stood out to me.
1. He mentioned Kam crying long ago and so he let them stay. That felt real. That he actually cares about the child. Ironic that it was clear that him being left somewhere people would find him instantly screamed this is someone who doesn't want to hurt him/ a child.
2. I thought he was driving. But then he was sleeping when the gas station men happened? Huh? I didn't follow that part
3. He stuck to that he was almost like a father figure to her.... until he said his ego got the best of him and he got out mad at the gas station men. Mmmhhhmmmm. You dont get bent over a man talking to your girl if you dont look at her like yours.

I will be surprised if he isn't highly involved. I think this won't end well, for sure.

I completely agree. The thing that I can't quite decide is whether SR's details about these "strange men" gets fuzzy & quits making sense because he's completely making that part up, or if it's because they're innocent parties that he may be trying not to implicate, or if SR is trying to hide the fact that any "strangers" that might be visible on surveillance video aren't really strangers to him at all. (Think accomplices of some sort.)
Whatever the reason, it seems like SR went out of the way to intertwine extra details throughout the entire story he's telling (likely to ensure that people find the story believable) ... right up until the point where accurate details matter the most, and then he just omits any details completely. One way or another, I just can't help but feel there's a reason for that.

It makes no sense that he says he was the last person to see her and yet she got into a car with 2 men. So they would be the last to see her.
I don't believe him. He can't have it both ways.

I guess he's saying he was the last person to see her before she went missing.

But if it's true that she got into a car at the gas station, LE would have easily been able to verify that. Yet it was apparently confirmed she was last seen in the company of a black male, not in a black car with two men. It would seem that LE do not find him credible.

Imo

Yeah, I noticed he became much more animated when he started telling the story about her getting into the car. He also spent a great deal of time providing explanations for why she would do something risky like that. He mentioned that she would always take Kam with her to meet men. It just seems like he was trying way too hard to make the story sound believable.
