FYI; I am Linda's older brother. She was not living with her married boss.She had her own townhouse that also served as her office. After the crime someone went in her office and removed any and all evidence of appointments and such.

Linda Stillson is my sister. She was 2 years younger than me. Yes it is believed that one maybe 2 of the adult kids did the crime. At the cemetery Andrew said to my brother,"you are next". I read last year in the Miami Herald Obits Andrew died at the age of 54. May he rot in Hell. Also,his sister Judy and Linda did not get along. It was thought she tried to poison Linda while they were vacationing. All the kids resented her fearing their lose of inheritance.

So sorry for your family on such a great loss. Did the detectives state any poi or suspects to you? DNA evidence tested against anyone? This doesn’t seem a random murder, did the family have airtight alibis?

Found this in nytimes article, saying Linda was also raped, can you confirm this? Would this be the DNA evidence LE has? Not asking to be morbid, just trying to find the most accurate information to piece together.

Thanks Skully, I accidently came across this group. It's been a long 41 years without my sister. I still don't feel the case is closed. Miami Homicide thinks they got their man.

Thanks StarChance, No DNA just matching fingerprints at crime cine that matched Ernest Turnbough. He was arrested in 1981 in Key West for sexually molesting a women there.

Theory:
She was involved with an older wealthy man whose adult children were afraid she would interfere with their inheritance. There is a finger print lifted from the crime scene that is matched to a man with a criminal record but seemingly no connection to victim. I'm thinking hired hitman. She's a realtor. He poses as a potential client, finds a vacant property among her listings (or it is provided to him) and he poses as a potential buyer. He knows she will show up alone...perfect opportunity. Now, what does not match is the manner of killing...a hit man would not likely have so much rage for someone they didn't know. But up thread it was posted that someone matching his name had been arrested for violence against a woman so maybe he was already predisposed to that kind of outburst.
Just a theory of course. If these adult children were the scum bags that the victim's brother portrayed them to be...with financial means... it sounds plausible that they could hire someone to take care of Dad's problematic young girlfriend, no?
