I wonder if Lurline is alive and living in another country...if she was pregnant, her son or daughter would be late 20s. I wonder why the family suspected she could be pregnant? If so, maybe she started a new life to get clean and away from the drug scene...

I'm currently on vacation in Florida. So close to West Palm Beach. Thinking of you Lurline, wherever you are...

I hope Lurlines mother returns. I would like to know if the men lurline were "dating " were ever located and questioned. If they suspected she was pregnant, does the family know who might be the father? Also, was she going to school....classmates or neighbors questioned...?
Was there a thorough search or was lurline dismissed as a runaway?

Even in 1991, so many teens were classified as runaways, or throw away kids, not worth persuing. No doubt her family tried their best to help her but may have had so little support.

Then there are some people who you just can’t get thru to. They’re so hard headed and stubborn that they only learn by failure. Not saying this child was that way, nor her family, but simply keeping an open mind on possibilities of why. That personality type can have such scary even deadly consequences.

The non-family adults in Lurline’s life may have had so much power, influence and control that she simply couldn’t break away. A sad situation all around. I too hope her Mom or other family can join here and provide insight. A small detail can be a big clue.

I found a Jane Doe who went by Joy Neubauer. I couldn't help but think of Lurline when I saw her.
Jane Doe was found in Florida on November 27, 1996. Her age estimate is 21-35 and she had acne scars on her cheeks and jaw. This Jane Doe has short brown hair, blue eyes and is about 5'10".
She hung herself on a lifeguard post after identifying to a police officer that she was recently homeless and looking for shelters. The cop offered her a ride but she refused. "Joy Neubauer" told the officer she was born on 7-12-66 but never showed the officer any physical ID.

I was thinking about how Lurline was described as drug affiliated. I wonder if these are meth scars on Doe. Some drugs can even make a person appear older than they are.
Also West Palm Beach is about 28 minutes from Boca Raton.

I proposed this match on the Jane Doe's thread before reading through this one . Doubt that it's her for reasons I stated over there but I hope the comparison was at least made by investigators.

30 years ago..today, Lurline went missing. Where is she??
If she ran away and started a new life, I hope she is healthy and happy. I pray she realizes people are looking for her and care.
If she met foul play, she deserves to be found, brought home, and have a proper burial. My heart goes out to Lurlines family. I hope, one day, you have answers.

The only info I can find is...Lurline was last seen in West Palm Beach Florida. Wish there were more details available. Was she with someone? Was she last seen at home? Personal belongings left behind?

• Medical Conditions Lurline has a history of drug abuse. She may have been three to four months pregnant at the time of her disappearance.
• Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian female. Brown hair, green eyes. Lurline has scars on her abdomen and on both arms and both legs, and a surgical scar on the left side of her head above her ear. Her ears are pierced multiple times each. She normally keeps her hair cut short and bites her nails to the quick.

Details of Disappearance

Lurline was last seen in West Palm Beach, Florida on July 1, 1991. She was a habitual runaway at the time of her disappearance and often dated older Hispanic males, and investigators believe she left of her own accord. She was never been heard from again after her 1991 disappearance. Few details are available in her case.

I am on Facebook and we do continue to look for and pray my daughter will either return to us or be found.
