Has anyone ever read if Lurline left behind her personal belongings or packed a bag?
The last time she was seen...was she with someone, and if so, who?
Why was she THOUGHT to be pregnant?
Dont understand why so little info given..missing since 1991!!

Still thinking of you Lurline!

I wonder if Lurline is alive and living in another country...if she was pregnant, her son or daughter would be late 20s. I wonder why the family suspected she could be pregnant? If so, maybe she started a new life to get clean and away from the drug scene...
Where are you Lurline??
I am Lurlines sister. We found out she was pregnant 2 weeks before she went missing...

Wish we knew if LE put effort into searching for Lurline or if she was considered, just another runaway.....so sad.
Unfortunately they didn't do much. I remember I was 9 years old when she went missing and me and my mom and brother went to put posters with her picture up in the neighborhoods looking for her. I was young but they just said she was a runaway and did not do much.

It is very heartwarming to know Lurline's family is still searching, questioning, caring and wondering where their loved one is. So many UIDs seem to have nobody looking for them. Not that I think they don't care, just that they don't have the ability/skill to "market" their search in this new online world we live in. It would be wonderful if every UIDs family had an online presence for them so the general public would be aware. It is sad that the more long term UIDs, like Lurline, are either forgotten, no one had the initial awareness, the perp has died, or whatever reason that nobody remembers anything. Some day Lurline, the world will find you and bring you home. Send us a sign so we can help. Your family needs you!

I totally agree PayrollNerd!
If she is alive, I pray her family is informed and if not, the family deserves her remains for a proper burial.
So many UID victims...I am so thankful for DNA labs assisting with cold cases.
Someone knows something about Lurlines disappearance.
1991..too long for family, friends, and Lurline! Prayers and hope!

Praying for answers..what happened to you Lurline?

So I'm no expert on genealogy, but let's assume Lurline is alive, her son/daughter would be around 30. If their DNA is out there, how can mom or sister see if they get a "hit" or match through their DNA? Anyone familiar with how this works or the steps needed to take?

If they do an direct to consumer DNA test, like Ancestry or 23andMe, they will match their biological family members who have tested. Lurline, or one of her decedents, would have to test for them to match. At age 57, I opened my 23andMe results and found out who I was. I never knew as my mother was an epic parental alienator. A few months later, I opened my Ancestry results and found my brother who had been abandoned at birth.
