I continue to post on this thread often because I'm worried Lurlines disappearance has become "cold." So little information yet so many questions. This poor 14 year old girl who had a history of running away, "dating" older men, scars, nails bit to the quick, drugs, and possibly pregnant. I'm holding on to the possibility that once she found out she was pregnant, she went off seeking a new life to get away from drugs and her past...
I pray she didnt meet foul play.
Thoughts??
I also feel there is so little info out there on the day she went missing..was she seen with anyone..belongings missing?

Today we are aware of many people who "fall through the cracks" of our nation's systems, and at WS we have threads for as many as we can.

As a group, we honor Lurline in every thread imho. Her young life should have been different!

I'm with you, holding onto hope that someone like us met a scared, pregnant 14 year old one day & loved her like an auntie until the baby was born, helped to place that child with the right agency to arrange for the adoption & support for Lurline, then saw that Lurline had support & education & brighter future.

(Of course I also hold out hope that Baby Gabriel & Baby Lisa were adopted by a very social-media averse couple & are happily brother & sister today.)

If we can help someone in a bad situation today -- we honor Lurline.

On the FDLE link. I had to search her name and her screen popped up. I was surprised to see it too. I don't remember ever hearing anything about that name before.

If she was being trafficked then it would make sense. Her family may be aware of the history of the name. But it gives us another clue to her life. You never know what small detail could help bring her home.

Back in late Sept or early Oct when the sister posted on here, she messaged me and gave me her email address. I responded and asked if she could share any insight, I never heard back.
