Both the mom and sister posted on here one time each...they were not verified, so I'm not sure if it was really Lurlines family at all. Sorry to think that way but....
And if it really was, I hope they return to this thread to update.

Back in late Sept or early Oct when the sister posted on here, she messaged me and gave me her email address. I responded and asked if she could share any insight, I never heard back.

It could be the email landed in the junk folder. Perhaps a follow up email to her via forwarding the intial email and adding a new note. Just a thought. Thank you for trying. It is clear her family loves her and wants her home.

Her sister and niece (Stephanie and Jessica)reached out to crimewatchers in 2016 but nothing since. Seems like all publicity has stopped

I dont know if anyone can answer this question? When someone files a missing persons report, does that become public knowledge?
Only because there is so little information known about the day Lurline disappeared. Circumstances...
Clothes or money missing?

Well, the person making the report would have to know.

If the young lady left to 'visit a friend,' family may not realize the person is missing for several days. Family, and LE, may not be able to find anyone who saw the missing person after the family.

Parent leaves for work, Lurline leaves while they are gone, maybe scribbles a note -- 'out with friends' -- and parent doesn't worry because the known friends don't cause worry....

We may never know. Every time we care about a missing child or youth and participate in the search for that person we are honoring Lurline, I think, and the entire missing sisterhood.

So young and on drugs...one can only imagine. Was the scars from her accident or self inflicted?
