Lurline was modified on June 18th (NamUs) to include location of scars from going through the windshield during a car accident.
I noticed today, that on July 15th , her case was modified again. I cannot tell what was modified though. She still continues to have 18 ruleouts.
I hope these modifications indicate that Lurlines case is being looked into!!!

Yeah that’s what I was thinking also. Let’s see some resolution for this poor girl. I hope her Momma can get answers.

I think that the detail about her possibly wearing an unknown color maternity shirt is new, as well as the location last seen being an address that no longer exists.
Lurline’s case is so sad and frustrating. I don’t understand why there is so little information available, so few photos, and not much, if any, public commentary from family. This poor child…

Since Lurline was considered a habitual runaway, where would she go, who with, and for how long? Did she take any personal belongings this time? Were neighbors questioned..her friends or classmates? I have a feeling nothing extensive was done..LE prob thought she just (ran away again and would return)
She was 14 and suspected of being pregnant...why?
Potential father known....questioned ?
We need more information about her disappearance!

"She often dated older Hispanic males" has always struck me as odd. How much older? She was 14 years old. If she was interested in or seeing guys that were 17-20 or so I could chalk that up to being a rebellious young girl that was attracted to guys a few grades higher... a freshman infatuated with a senior for example. To be clear, I don't think a 14 year old girl going out with a 17 or 18 year old guy is a good idea...I surely wouldn't have allowed my daughters to do so... but to me it is quite different than if she was "dating" men in their 30's or 40's. This would implicate something far worse/nefarious. I am about the same age as Lurline and can remember that when I was 14 a lot of girls my age liked guys who were a little older, maybe driving already and so forth. When I was around 17 a girl in my youth group who was 13-14 had a crush on me (I, of course, had no interest in her). It was a different time and norms have shifted greatly since 1991. Maybe this is just an outdated description that wouldn't be how we would characterize it now. All of this to say: if the "dating" older Hispanic (or any) men meant much much older men, then I am almost sure that this is the explanation for her disappearance. This would have been an extremely dangerous situation for young Lurline that could have had any number of bad outcomes.
