I KNEW one of you had it!!!! Thank you, @Pruddennce!!!

Roommate said she went to sleep around 0230, which is she was hearing noises coming from Stephan's room. She described the noises as of someone was putting stuff on a table, which in order for her to hear noises it would have to be significant based upon the noise would have to travel through two closed doors and across a doorway.

Source to keep things together (and safely tucked into my notes. lol): https://www.scribd.com/document/761...-the-investigation-into-Madeline-Sotos-murder

So... stuff on a table (loudly)... I wonder if that noise was the tools one of the roommates saw on the table (downstairs) the next morning?

So you guys can understand Gemmie-speak... when I say something like....

something something on a table...

it equals "someone putting stuff on a table"

:p

While it's old news that SS took nude photos of one of the roommates... the fact he was apparently using tools that morning is news to me! I sure don't recall this, although I could have missed it.

He had 3 tools out, one a hammer, the other 2 the roommate didn't recognize and...

"Monday morning, inside the house, she heard something that sounded like a power tool," When JS asked SS about the tools, he replied that he was "finishing up a project," though he did not specify what the project was.

What in the WORLD was he doing that morning with power tools and a hammer, EARLY, because I'm guessing this roommate was the one that left by 7:45am for work?!?!?! Seriously! Maddie was dead in the car by now, and he's doing some project with tools! I can't even imagine what it could have been.
roommate with the son, is the one that leaves early. the roommate in the linked article, leaves for work much later.

page 44 she says" SS was in and out of the house and up and down the stairs that morning. the next time she sees him, SS was washing clothes around 1330 hours-1400 hours. which is interesting because JS was home at that time.

Thanks, Pru! I wondered which roommate it was but since I couldn't find the ding dong source... I had to guess.

So, SS's project sounds like it likely wasn't in the early morning hours (before 7:45am). Still, what in the world was he doing, on that day, of all days? It's not like he was useful around the house. He was a lazy, vaping, gamer that preyed on the innocent. :( What did he feel compelled to do that required at least 1 power tool and a hammer? Also, if JS was asking about it whatever it was wasn't something she asked him to do! And was it before or after he disposed of Maddie's body?

I remembered wondering about this roommate's, AN, her interview and follow-up interview. and forgot to throw this out there back then. JS returned home from her appt at 11:15am or so. JS was home until 2:30. AN claims she saw SS washing clothes between 1:30-2pm.

however, why wasnt this roomie asked if she saw/interacted with JS before JS left at 2:30pm?

I wonder if there's a vent or air return in the room that might have held a camera and he was removing it.

That would account for the tools, the sounds, the table and another source for 1700 images.

Small, or large area, it's happening everywhere IMO. And with this day and age of the internet, and the ability to connect with people all over the world... there's no need to be trading CSAM with your "neighbors". It's also an added risk to do so, IMO, which I'd think they wouldn't want to add that risk. It's better to trade with total strangers than someone that could turn on you and turn you in should they get caught.

All JMO!
All that is true. It has also entered my head that IF SS knew about the Coxes, he might have thought that when or if MS was found, they might be blamed. I also think that while it is happening everywhere and as you discussed, people living in an area often learn of people with their same interests in their area.

I recall a roommate hearing sounds coming from the room that night, but can't find anything in my notes about it, darn it. Something about it sounding like something something on a table. Could it have been tools? WTH???

I know some of you likely remember and have notes/source to share! :)
this was on the desk in room 4

Perhaps he was dismantling or trying to destroy the missing hard drive? IMO

Anyone remember when jenn said she called the school who she spoke to? was it the admin staff? The school secretary was just busted for trading CSAM ( not that its related )
the link wont work because the word " po***graphy" is in the title, but if you look up

Local middle school, Boys & Girls Club employee accused of child *advertiser censored* possession

you can read about it. Apparently he ran a Madeline Soto Facebook group, I have never been on that site so not sure what it was like,
I got it from wftv9 news.
another link : Orlando middle school employee accused of possessing child sex abuse material
Omg, that is shocking news. Gotta be a connection with SS. IMO

Anyone heard the jail call of SS with his parents? Some interesting tidbits.

Since not everyone likes to, or can find the time to listen to all the videos that get posted... here's a sneak peek at what they are talking about. You know... kinda like a movie trailer to get you hooked into making you want to see the movie. :p

Starting at 10:50 -

CS - Were you expecting these charges? The murder charges.
SS - No.
CS - OK, so you got blindsided by that.
SS - Yep, [I'll be saying this (unsure exactly what he said there)] it's not true. I would never would have wanted her gone for any reason, so, premeditated first degree is kinda, kind of a dick punch. Yeah, no, I was wondering if you had any updates or anything.
CS - Nope, we haven't heard a thing, just speculation that she's been put in an institution and hiding in an institution.
DS - At her lawyer's request.
CS - Are you helping, are you cooperating with police about her participation in any of this stuff?
SS - There's been no opportunity for me to cooperate with anything as I understand it the police keep saying I'm uncooperative, but they haven't asked me anything to cooperate with, so, whatever that means.
CS - Hm. So, your attorney isn't approaching them and saying that my client would like to speak with you?
SS - No, my attorneys are pretty much saying to keep my mouth shut until the trial starts.

Gemmie again... So before the above he was complaining about how bad HIS birthday was. Like the worst ever. Uh... excuse me? There's proof on your phone that you used to SA Maddie on HER birthdays! Talk about the worst ever birthday. Sheesh.

As for him never wanting her gone for any reason... Of COURSE not. You were getting what you wanted from her! And for the charges against him to be a "dick punch"? I can't even say what I want to say about that. No way I can make it sound like anything but crude.

But, here's the thing... I'm only 12 minutes in and I've caught him in at least 3 lies. I think he was lying about being unable to reach his parents. He went on and on and on about that. And you know what they say about liars... they give too much information. The only thing missing from his spiel was that he couldn't call because he was busy eating raspberry Entenmann's!

Lastly, he lied in his last 2 sentences above. (1) There's been no opportunity for me to cooperate with anything as I understand it the police keep saying I'm uncooperative, and (2) my attorneys are pretty much saying to keep my mouth shut until the trial starts.

So... which is it? You're keeping your mouth shut as advised by your lawyers... or there's been no opportunity? Cuz it's not both, IMO. I think he's following his lawyers advice, so why not just say that?

He's such a lying piece of ick.

Quoting my own post (I know... like nails on a chalkboard for some).

Sounds like SS's parents are chomping at the bit to throw JS under the bus. Sure, I get it, a lot of WS's want the same... but it's like they aren't viewing their man-child son as not only a MURDERER, but as a CSAMer as well. And from the young age of 8. :( Both charges are awful, but it's like they have blinders on in regards to him.

SS: I was driving around aimlessly
He drove straight home to North Port, if you have a destination in mind you aren’t driving around aimlessly

CS: Were you expecting these charges? These murder charges?
SS: no
SS earlier: I had to get my ducks in a row

Why? Were they not in a row before? And why now at 3 in the morning? MS was still missing at the time and you said you dropped MS off at school. If you were being truthful than your focus needs to be on finding Maddie, not on gathering whatever props you need to fit some new storyline that you are delusional enough to think will fool the cops.

Do CS and DS really think that LE need SS’ help or involvement in investigating any possible crimes JS committed? LE there seem to be doing just fine without SS’ input and CS said himself that SS lies. Most importantly, he murdered and raped Maddie. Do they think he will advocate for justice for her in any way now? Is this about justice for Maddie or their own vindication in projecting their shame onto JS because they can’t accept that their own flesh and blood was a parasitic predator that sexually abused Maddie since she was a little girl and viciously murdered in her home all on his own? JMHO

SS: I will be lucky if I have another 40 years left in me either
Think of those 40 years as the ones you stole from Maddie. His parents feel bad that likely he will be alone if/when he gets out of prison. They’re his parents. I get that. But Maddie was alone too when he brutally murdered her. Maddie was alone when he would abuse and harm her. There was no one there for her during the times SS drugged and manipulated her person to make his disgusting CSAM images. SS might be alone but at least he will still be an adult when it/when he gets out of prison. Maddie though will never have the chance to grow up or even grow into herself. SS saw to that when he had the audacity to think it was in his right to determine whether she lived or died.

Anyone heard the jail call of SS with his parents? Some interesting tidbits.

I'm finding it interesting that his dad sounds almost like he's interrogating him with some of the questions he asks. It's obvious that they have a lot of the same Q's that we do. Like... "Are you able to share, the Saturday night before you left for Kissammee... you were pretty upset about something. Does it have to do with Kissimmee, and events (something something) the next couple of days?".

And of course he lies and says it was money and a job problem. LIAR!

Interesting that is sounds like his father didn't believe his "No" answer to why he was so upset the day before as he responded with a curious 'Hmm'.

Then.... @14:17 "Is there some explanation of the, I came up Wednesday morning [something] at the hotel early in the morning, and is there some explanation why you left and you went where you went?"

And SS replies... "I had wanted to grab a few things, and, uhm, get my ducks in a row, and to prepare myself for whatever was coming, but... (pause) I COULDN'T FIND WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR".

Gee... I wonder what he was looking for? More evidence of CSAM perhaps?

And how is LE "artificially inflating" the charges against him? What's he trying to say? I only SA'ed her 742 times, not 741?? (I made up those numbers as an example only) Like 741 would be better than 742! Or... Yeah, I killed her, but not in premeditated in the first degree? What is inflated in his mind?!?

And kinda interesting that his mom didn't realize he didn't attend Maddie's birthday party. You can tell she's not on WS because we ALL know that he didn't attend! lol But seriously... why would she even think that he was there? She knows what time he left, and how long it takes to get there. Or did she? Did he leave early enough where he could have attended, but was off doing something else? Or did he tell them he was going? I just find it odd that she didn't realize that he didn't attend.
