Florida man throws pizza at dad after finding out he helped deliver him at birth

A Florida man is in jail facing a charge for domestic battery.

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office told WFLA that Robert Houston became so enraged when he learned that his father helped deliver him at birth, he shoved pizza in his face.

Investigators don’t know why that news would set the 33-year-old suspect off. They said he held his father down in a chair and yelled at him.

"The victim began to flail around trying to get the defendant off him at which point the defendant went outside and awaited law enforcement," deputies told local media.

I shouldn't laugh but...
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office said deputies were called to a home in Holiday and found a slice of pizza on a chair and cheese and sauce all over the area.


Compared to some of the stuff we read, this was a little comic relief. That, or I should just stop reading.

In one way this story is humorous but in another way it's scary how something so trivial can erupt in such anger.

I would think most children would be pleased to know their dad help deliver them. You would think it would strengthen their bond even more. So it is very strange he had such an angry outburst over something most find an endearing act.

I'm just glad he didnt pick up a knife or a bludgeoning object when he attacked his father.

I wonder if he was on drugs because attacking his own father over this makes absolutely no sense to me.

How was Dad to know Bobby didn't want him (Dad) to help deliver him? It's not Dad's fault Bobby didn't make his delivery preferences known prior to birth.
