FL - Manhunt in Tampa after 4 slayings in 5 weeks, Oct-Nov 2017 #1

Is that neighborhood busier at night on the weekends? I'm just curious why there haven't been any weekend murders yet. If there is more activity, then that's probably why.

I think LE needs to be clearer to people in the area. Its becoming very obvious there is a killer on the loose that is shooting people. Im not sure why or how the last sentence is listed from the article because that is really bad advice IMO. If you have to go somewhere then sure you have to leave your home but they should not encourage that until this guy is caught.

Also seen too many reports that say they are not sure all the shootings are related. Its becoming way too obvious they are so they should be very clear about that IMO. This is not a time to be wishy washy with the public about the killer on the loose.

The first part is good advice. The last sentence at bottom where it says to "continue to come outside" I dont think is very good advice at all unless you have somewhere you have to go.

I kinda don't think he is that organized for lack of a better word.

IMO this kinda of of behavior is more like a cycle where there is a sense of relief after killing. Anxiety reduction.

Depending on when that urge builds again imo has more influence on the next time.

We used this in domestic violence intervention -- just posting it as a cycle -- a buildup - release - cooling off repeat

Perhaps he lives with roommates or an elderly relative that would NOT notice due to medications, heavy sleeper or roomies that don't care.

This is my amateur attempt at profiling this shooter. Im assuming the same person shot the 4 victims because this article says that too

Amateur Potential Profile:
-Age from late teens to mid twenties
-He has just recently learned how to shoot handguns
-His motive is the sheer thrill and excitement of killing another person
-His homelife is lacking a typical parenthood. He has little to no supervision of parents.
-He is committing the shootings either on foot or using a non-vehicle device like a bicycle nearby for a getaway. Perhaps even a skateboard or something like it to help him blend in and fake being a typical kid on the street.
-He lives very close to the shootings
-He is used to being out during the very early morning hours and late evening hours.
-He wears dark clothing a lot
-He does not have many friends. The few friends he does have thinks he is really strange.

I'm not ruling out HS teen that lives with an elderly grandparent that isn't aware of his coming and going. Grandparent that sleeps heavily on medications or has a severely dysfunctional home life. No parental guidance.

More people present plus the Guardian Angels will deter this type of crime of opportunity. So far he doesn't want to caught, he likes outsmarting the cops and terrorizing his neighborhood.

I ruled that out because if he doesn't live alone then maybe extended family will be visiting and he won't have the chance to get away etc we'll see I obviously would rather he was caught before killing anybody else.

Yes and dontae lampkins got on the bus at 930am on tuesday jan 24th. at nebraska ave just south of tampa park plaza and he got off at the corner of Nebraska and Hillsborough Ave... within sight of yesterdays shooting. Exactly 0.2 miles or the equivalent of a 4 min walk from each other.

In my opinon its the same guy-- DL murder also still unsolved

Like monica Hoffa, he was FOUND 2 DAYS LATER by a construction worker in an OVERGROWN alleyway between E Mohawk and Comanche Avenues with "upper body trauma" shot--- a neighbors pool guys heard 7 gunshots tuesday AM as well as someone running down the alley.

Where my cursor is, is where DL body was found and the blue line is his bus and the stop where he last got off (they have it on video)

DL lived approx 12min away by car and 40plus min away by bus on beechwood blvd---he was a nursing student at the same school as the first victim BM. And he worked at convergys corp on MLK.

WHAT THE MEDIA HAS REPORTED
Tampabay.com has said that LE thinks he may have met his killer
"through a social media dating app" and
his "death does not appear to be a random act"
"he was robbed and died of upper body trauma"

posted the video of the last time he was seen alive on the bus and they have also released a composite sketch of the suspect (attached) and they say...

"he had been shot 11 times"

"Documents show that he was using the dating app, plenty of fish, as well as the messenger app, KIK"

Police believe he was "most likely murdered by someone he met on Plenty of Fish"
