ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. -- A homicide investigation is underway after the Escambia County Sheriff's Office located the body of a person missing since mid-December.

Family identified the person to WEAR News on Wednesday as 21-year-old Marvis Bedgood, who last contacted family on Dec. 18.
