''Detectives continue to work to move the case forward.

Meanwhile, the family's 60-year-old business, Robert Is Here food stand, remains a community staple. He started the business when he was 6 years old; and from the beginning, his mother Mary was there.

"My mom was my mom," said Robert. What she lacked in her stature, her family will say, she made up for with her feisty and tough personality. She worked her way out of poverty and was the first person in the U.S. to survive tuberculosis.''

''August 1992 changed everything. Less than a week after his mother's 71st birthday, Robert found Mary tied up, strangled and mutilated in her own home. A week later, Hurricane Andrew ripped through South Florida''.

''But Miami-Dade police detectives are hoping stored DNA samples may provide some answers.''

'One of Florida’s best roadside attractions is the Robert Is Here fruit stand. Travelers from around the world and locals alike travel to this humble market to grab fresh produce, visit the farm, aviary, and pond, and soak in the family-friendly atmosphere.'

It has been more than three decades since a South Florida woman was murdered in Miami-Dade County, with her son making the gruesome discovery.

''At just six years old, Robert Moehling started selling cucumbers on the roadside, hoping to help his struggling family.
It would be the humble beginnings of “Robert is Here,” as young Robert became a roadside staple.
His little stand would one day become iconic amid the sprawling South Florida farmlands.''
'Moehling found her body himself, a devastating memory that would haunt him for life. She was strangled and brutally murdered.
“I found something upside down, it was my mom,” he said.'
Despite years of investigations, the killer has never been found. Miami-Dade Police still consider the case open, with new DNA technology giving them a slice of hope.
“The pool of suspects is very large,” Segovia said.''
