Mary left behind her identification, and her belongings. On 3/17/1988 the friend was contacted by Mary's boyfriend, who stated he had not heard from Mary in three days, which was unusual for her.

My first thought was this KY Doe: 793UFKY

Found in May of 1988, thought to have ties to Miami. The main problems are missing teeth and hair color. In pictures Mary Rose’s hair does appear to be darker though.
