It was Latin night at the club (they are theme parties, not ethnic related). It would be like wear some stuff like that, maybe music etc

I do not want to give impressions about the gay community

parties were thrown in post offices, train stations, airplane hangers, a zoo, beaches, DisneyLand, theme parks .... party every weekend in one of the major cities. (Red Party-Columbus, Motorball-Detroit, FireBall-Chicago, Zoo Party-San Diego ,70's night, 80's night. etc etc

The Orlando link above said that ORMC has many floors on lock down and only immediate family members may be granted access. This is horrifying.

To know there are so many clinging to life and so many have been murdered makes me cry my heart out for the families and the victims.

ISIS is nothing but a cult and cults have always been able to lead others into doing their dirty work for them. Why anyone would want to follow these Islamic fanatics is mindboggling. They are nothing but a group filled with pure hatred just because others do not believe as they do.

They aren't contained. They aren't even contained here on our own soil. This isn't the only one who lives here who is plotting and planning to kill as many of us as they can. When all this settles down months from now they will strike at the heart of our country again. Worthless cowards.

We don't even know if this is ISIS influenced or a HATE crime. Both are equally disgusting, but there's no reason to get people worked up until we know for sure.

Police want to speak to others who may have left the scene prior to the beginning of the shooting, assume want to establish if anyone witnessed anything out of the norm. One officer injured. Police in press conference indicated he was in the club prior to shots being fired.

Dont know why, I think this is a hate crime NOT terrorism. Driving all that way and committing the biggest mass shooting in AMerica, as a lone person, just seems like homphobia

IMO

Dylan Roof and the Oklahoma bomber were "Christians". I forget which other ones were "Christians". We do not need to stir up hate. The average Muslim person does not need to get beat up or children hassled in school and in public.

There are indications he hated gays just like a lot of "Christians" do.

How in the heck did one shooter do that? Especially with an off duty cop that started returning fire early on?

If he used an AR then it would take some real effort to kill 50 individuals with .223 (which is considered a "varmint" load). It isn't just about plinking away at random folks, it would require someone taking the time to make sure each one received a kill shot to ensure death.

Of course it was a hate crime. He shot up a gay nightclub! How many of his victims were gay? He specifically targeted a club that catered to the LGBT community.

A surgeon just spoke about 5 minutes at the press conference going on now and said they brought 6 surgeons in including a Pediactric surgeon and they have been operating non stop and are still operating and that many victims are critical.
