The disagreement was with the RADICAL mosques. Of course the number of mosques in general would be higher. RaDICAL, key word.

Read a little more closely. Radical is indeed the key work. probably about 300-400 of 'em in the US.

I may be wrong, but, I think that that is the "Black Mamba" and was developed for the the US Army's special operations forces. It is not available to civilians. Again, I could be wrong, but, firearms like that are not supposed to have the collapsible stock, nor other features, that the ones designed for military use have. Not that they are not lethal, obiously they are, but a military grade weapon can fire many, many, more rounds per minute than the civilian design. Things may have changed, just going from what I've known to be true in the past.

I went back and read 2 more times. I didn't see those numbers. In fact the only thing I saw about radicalized and extreme. ..was that it was declining among the youth. So could you just quote me where it is talki n g about it because I must be missing it. I'm on my phone so that may be the difference. Tia.

Witness says he was on phone as he walked in

Why is that? Just curious...Wouldn't that have been a big red flag? Plus I'm sure once in Saudi any training he got or did they would have supplied him with a weapon if needed.

What good would a provided gun in Saudi Arabia do for him in the US? He was only there some 18 days both trips combined. Not like he was going to fly back with it.

I agree, all this 'scouring' he was doing was because he was gay. Also on the fact he married .. Just look at his father, he couldn't come out IMO, and prob wanted to stay in good with his folks so he got married. I agree that's not the same thing as fully closeted, but there are different degrees of closeted IMO.

I heard somewhere - and only heard it once - no link to back it up - so take it for what it is - that he did call his wife during the massacre

If that is, in fact, true - then it would have been hard for wifey to say she didn't know what he was planning, which could be why she is "coming clean" about it
KWIM?

What happened I do not think was his plan, it escalated/morphed into something else after initial confrontation with officer, I wish I knew more like positions of officer and OM other than a cheesy USA today reenactment video it is still hard to say how the encounter went. I believe he never had an intent to go back in with hostages.

That is exactly how it hit me too. But then there was the account (Posted it) cant remeber now. That reveresed the whole order of everything.

Basically went like this, according to that article (it was well written). The officer outside was interacting with someone outside about underage drinking. Heard shots. Went in . The did some firing and the perp retreated into in the bathroom.

EIther way, I agree with you , I think he was clueless that there was someone armed on property, and it completly turned everything around on him.

He did a great job with all this casing of the place the media seems to think happend.

If I was gonna go do this I would pay attn to a man "on site" that has a gun - kinda the basics of how not to get shot in the middle of a mass murder.

I kinda think the first part of my scanning and canvassing etc would include is their someone here that can shoot me dead!
