Lets say that a grand jury is gonna happen. How long does it take to "start"?


Always wondered in any story, at pressers why a bunch of tax paid folks, on the payroll, stand around and do and say nothing.

I doubt very serious a private entity would not call 15 staffers off their jobs, paid , to do nothing??

I do think we are at thepoint where nothing really knew is gonna come out for a while

I also wonder, if seconds wives "impairments" are enough to rule her out like completly, by that I mean , or totally clear that she had no cognitve capacity to understand they have said she has some limitations but am wondering of those limits may be more profound story about her has died

I just heard the tickets were for June 14th..... L Lynch is on right now and I don't know if she said that or if an MSNBC person reported it. Anyway, made me wonder...ok just heard reporter say it......Supposedly to visit Noor's mother as she had been hospitalized. I wonder if he was thinking of blowing up the aircraft. Maybe there was a plan B. He wouldn't have been able to smuggle the guns on the plane, though, and he purchased those before he bought the airline tickets. Weirdo. JMO

Note that this proposal pre-dates Orlando. As the Reuters article indicates, though, this issue is considered to be relevant to Orlando.

In fairness, through the years of debate on how far to go regarding electronic communication privacy issues, objections to this specific proposal and others can come from both the right and left of the political spectrum.

I expect it may come to pass this time.

I did read an article this morning that the republicans are pushing for the FBI and other agencies to have more tools regarding electronic communication in order to fight Islamic terrorism.

I think it will pass too Grace.

None of it makes sense. He said his country" but stretching it, "his" country would be Afghanistan. Had he ever been to Iraq or Syria?

Syria is a nightmare mess. Looking at pics of it are beyond distressing.

It is all a nightmare. People everywhere just wanting to live but becoming victims to madmen and women of all kinds of agendas.

Americans have had a very sheltered life unless they belong to a Marginalized group.

But you are suppossed to do something like listen , and it directly (suppossedly!) apply to what they are paying you to do!!

In all of these they know they are going to walk in , stand there, walk out! I would not pay for my people to do that!! There is much to do - we do not need 10 LE standing around !!!!

After an initial burst of fire between Omar Mateen and a security guard at the Pulse nightclub, a group of five to six police officers arrived on the scene within minutes, broke through a large glass window and entered the club as the killing of 49 people was underway inside, according to a Belle Isle police officer who was among the first responders.

In the first public accounting of those critical early minutes by an officer who actually went inside the club, Belle Isle police officer Brandon Cornwell, 25, said the ad-hoc team spent the first seconds inside “trying to locate exactly where the shooter was — we kept hearing people scream and shots fired.”

That Cornwell was even in the vicinity of the Pulse Nightclub at 2 a.m. Sunday was largely a matter of coincidence. The tiny Belle Isle Police Department, situated just south of Orlando in a sleepy community of pale houses and Spanish moss, has an agreement to assist the community of Edgewood, which is near the Pulse nightclub. Cornwell, a second-year police officer who served with the Army National Guard in Iraq, said he was helping with a traffic stop when he heard the call on his radio that shots had been fired at Pulse. He said he arrived “in 38 seconds.”

Cornwell was one of the first seven or so police cars to arrive on the scene, where officers were getting out of their cars with their assault rifles, he said.

“Some ran towards the building, some stayed back with people running out,” he said. “There was tons of people running out of the club. I grabbed my assault rifle and ran toward the club. At this point the shooter is still actively shooting inside.”

for an entire year. It was a fruld let their guard down. Even then he couldn't mimic how other gay men act ;; pretending to be one.

If they had only thoroughly checked out the actual complex relationship he had with the suicide bomber who came from the same Mosque:.

--They have not said that - they are saying they are going to look into if that might true. Thus far no evidence that that is the case


If they had kept up the surveillance on him they would have seen him buying a semi-automatic rifle, and a handgun at the same time.

-The report was 3 years ago, is it realistic to think the FBI has the resources to keep following people when no data is found indicating they are a threat?

The FBI has some of the best profilers in the world and Marteen fits the profile here it is

It's really no surprise that people would try to claim they were there when they weren't. Huge amounts of money are being collected and donated, and just about everybody involved with the nightclub that night will get some sort of a pay out. This guy is most likely trying to get his 15 minutes of fame, and if nobody had noticed his lies, would have eventually tried to be a "spokesman" for the victims. At the very least, he would've had his hand held out for cash and donations from well meaning people. Had he not been exposed, you could've expected to see him on Oprah, Dr. Phil, or Ellen in the near future.

People like him need to be made an example of, and jailed very publicly and loudly.

To check out security - how did he miss the guy at the front door with a gun!! WOnder if he went outside like Holmes did to get his killing stuff. He rented a van so he could "work" in the back of the van moo
