Hi Shaun, we will definitely be following this trial when it begins. The next court date is July 9, and it is a status hearing. I'm not sure how long it will be before the trial begins, but it's not scheduled yet. Hope that helps!

And now the most recent date scheduled for jury selection is at the end of June 2019. That is unbelievable. This is after 2 previous cancellations for the trial to start. I am not familiar with legal wrangling, so what could account for these cancellations? Meredith and her grandfather deserve better than this. Of course they did NOT deserve to be murdered by their mother/daughter. Justice has certainly not been swift for them. That only compounds an already horrible crime.

I actually had lunch with a girl that worked for me that currently works at the court house. Her thoughts are there is a such a log jam of cases in bartow. However that should not have caused this many delays.. I talk to her soon to see if she has any concrete reasoning, but the stories she tells opened her eyes to just how crazy people living among us are.
