"The decedent was found unresponsive in the area of 111 NW 1 Street in Miami, Florida. He was pronounced deceased on scene."

Height - 6' 2"(74 inches) Measured
Weight - 140 lbs Measured

Hair Color - Gray or Partially Gray
Head Hair Description - The head hair is short, curly, and mixed with black and gray.
Facial Hair Description - The decedent has a goatee. It is mostly gray with some black.
Left & Right eye - Brown

Scar/mark
- There is a subcutaneous cysts on the back, lower, left side of the scalp
- There is a scar on the right knee.
- There is an ulcer on the front, middle aspect of the right leg.

Other distinctive physical characteristic
- The decedent had a small umbilical hernia.
- Large gap between upper front teeth

Clothing
- Light blue jacket- brand "Aberdeen Collection"- Size L
- Royal to dark blue sweater. The inside trim of the neckline is yellow. Brand is Gulf Traders Classic. The size is XL.
- Blue-denim like long sleeve shirt. Brand is Banana Republic and the size is L.
- Gray hoodie sweatshirt with a "Michigan" log on the left. The brand is Steve & Barry's University Sportswear and the size is XL.
- Black pants. The brand is Claiborne. The size is 32/32. 6. Black hoodie sweatshirt. On the front is "Portuguese Princess Pismo Beach". The brand is Esy Surf Co and the size is M.

111 NW 1 St in Miami is the Courthouse. This is where the UID was found.

Could Mr. Burnett have kept going on the greyhound bus and end up in Miami?
Missing since December 2018 from CA. Stats are off but have seen that happen before. Thoughts?

I received a response from Eureka PD today on the submission for Cassanova Burnett. This UID (UP55208) is not a match.

Copy and paste of their response is below.

I wanted to let you know that there was a comparison of the MP Burnett’s fingerprints and those of the unidentified deceased male at the
Miami-Dade Coroner’s office. They were NOT a match.

I almost can't believe they arent the same person. They look so similar.

Wow he was thin for his height. Makes you wonder if he was homeless and unable to have consistent meals. That's a great reconstruction of him.

Namus was updated just now. Even though i cant see exclusions, i think Burnett was added as one.

You are exactly right. Mr. Burnett is now listed as being ruled out. That was fast reporting. Eureka PD was such a pleasure to work with and very receptive to the tip. They returned my call on a Saturday just to let me know they would reach out to Miami-Dade on Tuesday last week. I received two interim emails with communication updates and then a confirmation email stating no match. Wish more agencies were as proficient as they were. I do understand staff and funding play a big role in it though. Just makes me want to work harder and search longer to help resolve not only for Mr. Burnett and his family but also our unidentified person. I know they both must be terribly missed.

@Hochman. I also felt this was a good match and was surprised it wasn’t considering the timing and all. We tried and will continue.
